Four injured after car mounts pavement in Leicester per BBC News

The BBC carefully report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leicestershire-37841829 on an incident in Leicester:
'Four people were injured when a car mounted a pavement and ploughed into a group of pedestrians.

A woman was seriously injured in the hit and run in Humberstone Gate, Leicester, shortly before 17:00 GMT, police said.

Eyewitnesses told the BBC they saw a car with a smashed windscreen being driven "erratically" after the crash.

Others said the car appeared to have been deliberately driven at the group of pedestrians.'

A car allegedly deliberately driven at pedestrians, the weaponisation of a vehicle. Now where have I read about that before?

Theresa May or Teresa May

As I blogged back in May 2010, there is a world of difference between Theresa May and Teresa May:

'I was looking up the ages of cabinet members last night and made a spelling mistake. For a moment I was reading that Teresa May was 'Teresa May (born Teresa Betteridge, December 15 1967, Epsom, Surrey)... an English glamour model. In addition to films, May has appeared in numerous ...'

As well as being a former porn star she was surprisingly younger than me and had an alternative career to politics then I realised that I had omitted an 'h'. Theresa May is described thus 'Theresa Mary May (née Brasier, 1 October 1956 in Eastbourne, Sussex) is the Conservative Home Secretary of the United Kingdom. She is one of the most senior ...'

The letter 'h' is an important one, isn't it?

Most important now as people look for more information on their new Prime Minister...

After all you don't want to confuse Teresa May...
with our new Prime Minister who would never show off her cleavage.... or would she...

Enough? I think so, now be a good Prime Minister Theresa May.

Oh dear, not something you want to be caught on camera doing. Poor Joachim Löw.

Seriously no backup taken and stored for twelve years?

'Fraud and abuse investigations dating back to 2004 vanished when a database became corrupted, service officials said.

The U.S. Air Force has lost records concerning 100,000 investigations into everything from workplace disputes to fraud.

A database that hosts files from the Air Force's inspector general and legislative liaison divisions became corrupted last month, destroying data created between 2004 and now, service officials said. Neither the Air Force nor Lockheed Martin, the defense firm that runs the database, could say why it became corrupted or whether they'll be able to recover the information.'

No backup taken and stored for twelve years?

Arabic Graffiti Found On Four EasyJet Planes

'An investigation has been launched after Arabic graffiti was found daubed on panels covering fuel tanks of four easyJet planes in France.Lisa King, easyJet cabin safety manager, alerted company employees to the graffiti with an email informing them of the discovery of "four aircraft in France with written inscriptions on the inside of the fuel panel, and toilet door in Arabic script".

The airline did not give any details of the nature of the inscriptions.

However, a spokeswoman for easyJet said the matter was not considered to be a threat either by the airline or the authorities, and no passengers had to be removed from the aircraft.

She said: "EasyJet assessed this issue, each time working in full consultation with the authorities, and is entirely satisfied it is nothing more than graffiti."EasyJet takes very seriously any security related issue and would not operate a flight unless we are entirely satisfied it is completely safe to do so."

EasyJet operates its fleet of aircraft in full compliance with all regulations. The safety and security of its passengers and crews is always easyJet's highest priority."'

Nothing to worry about? Graffiti won't bring down a plane it is true but I'd like to know what the graffiti was and if someone can get away with adding graffiti to a plane could they also adulterate the fuel or add something unwanted to the plane in that area?
