Deadly attack in north-east Kenya per BBC News

This BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-37571205 includes this;
'Militants have carried out frequent attacks on the Mandera region, which borders Somalia. They target people who are not from the local area and security forces, Kenyan papers say.'
A) terrorists not militants
B) do you think they target kufr not Muslims?
C) what's the point of the phrase 'Kenyan papers say'? Is the targeting in dispute?

Kenya bus attack: Al-Shabab 'wants religious war' - reports BBC news

The slaughter of 28 people on a bus in Kenya is a bid to start a religious war, a senior adviser to President Uhuru Kenyatta has told the BBC.

I take issue with the BBC's reporting of this news. Islamist terrorists around the world have been at war with non Muslims for many years now, some might convincingly argue that Islam has been at war with non Muslims since Mohammed left Medina for Mecca. The Muslim armies which left Arabia and conquered the Middle East, large swathes of the East, North Africa and Southern & Central Europe slaughtered non Muslims along the way, it was only the bravery of Christian soldiers that turned that tide. Unfortunately that tide has now turned and until the non Muslim world realises that, it remains doomed.

Kenya bus attack near Somali border leaves 28 dead as reported by the BBC News

Here's the first half of the BBC's report on the latest terrorist atrocity in Kenya. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-30157581

'Suspected members of the Somali militant group al-Shabab have killed at least 28 people in an attack on a bus in northern Kenya, officials say.

The bus was travelling to the capital, Nairobi, when it was stopped in Mandera county, near the Somali border.

After taking it off the road, gunmen separated out those they thought were non-Muslim before killing them, officials said.

Somalia-based al-Shabab has been mounting attacks in Kenya since 2011.That was the year when Kenya sent troops to Somalia to help fight the Islamist militia. Mandera, a remote area in Kenya's north east, has been one of the regions affected.

Kenya's interior ministry said on its Twitter feed that the bus attacked early on Saturday had been carrying 60 passengers.

One official told Kenya's Daily Nation newspaper that assailants had asked passengers to read out verses of the Koran, before executing those who failed.'

Can you see the less than subtle attempt to hide who these terrorists are? No mention of the facts that they are is Islamist terrorists killing non Muslims only in the lead in paragraph, because that's all that most people read if they read the article at all. And because that's what forms the headline line on the main news pages. For the BBC who are desperately trying to pretend that Islamic terrorists are not involved in a war against non Muslims that is very very important. Facts be dammed, there's a propaganda war to win.'

Religious Freedom is important

The 2014 USCIRF Religious Freedom  report is out now and just as last year there seems to be some common threads that unite the worse offenders.

China - Single party Communist state
Eritrea - Single party state split 62.5% Christian, 36.5% Muslim
Iran - Islamic republic under Shariah Law
North Korea - One party authoritarian regime, based on Communism
Saudi Arabia - Islamic republic under Shariah Law
Sudan - Single party Islamic state
Uzbekistan - Former part of Communist Soviet Union

Tier 1 CPC Countries
Recommended by USCIRF
Egypt - Islamic state with Muslim Brotherhood problems
Iraq - Islamic state with troubled past and future

Pakistan - Islamic state
Syria - Islamic state with civil war in progress between different brands of Islamists

So of the 16 above countries:
Islamic - 7
Large part Islamic -2
Communist or ex Communist - 6
Military government - 1

Makes you think.

I await the BBC's reporting of this report, but as Israel are not listed I doubt that they will bother, 'mustn't spoil the narrative'...

The religious split in Africa

This map shows the scary religious divide in Africa in 2012. I wonder how different it would have looked in 1992    and how it will have changed by 2032.

BBC News - 'Injuries in Kenya grenade attack'

The BBC report that:
'At least 10 people have been injured in a grenade attack at a Kenyan tourist resort south of the port city of Mombasa, say police.

Attackers hurled the device into a bar in the Diani area late in the night.

"We had an explosion at the bar and about 10 people were injured," said local police chief Jack Ekakuro, quoted in local media.

The injured are said to be in a stable condition and have been taken to hospital.'

A random attack? Or are the BBC hiding who the attackers are and what their motives were? Are the BBC protecting Islamist terrorists again?

Insight: Boko Haram, taking to hills, seize slave 'brides'

'In a new development, Boko Haram is abducting Christian women whom it converts to Islam on pain of death and then forces into "marriage" with fighters - a tactic that recalls Joseph Kony's Lord's Resistance Army in the jungles of Uganda.'

Coming to a Western country soon?

'A Moroccan boy and girl have been arrested for posting a photograph of themselves kissing online.
The couple - aged 15 and 14 - had their picture taken outside their school by a 15-year-old friend outside their school in the north-eastern town of Nador and posted it on the social networking site Facebook.

They were held for violating public decency after a local newspaper printed the photo, causing a public outcry. A complaint lodged with the police resulted in an investigation.'

And another attack by followers of the 'religion of peace'

This time in Nigeria where Islamist terrorists (or as the BBC describe them, gunmen) have attacked a college in north-eastern Nigeria, killing up to 50 students. The students were shot dead as they slept in their dormitory at the College of Agriculture in Yobe state.

The BBC tell me that:
'North-eastern Nigeria is under a state of emergency amid an Islamist insurgency by the Boko Haram group.

Boko Haram is fighting to overthrow Nigeria's government to create an Islamic state, and has launched a number of attacks on schools.'
I tell the BBC, stop pussy footing around, call terrorists terrorists and realise that even if we in the non-Muslim world don't want to  at war with Islam, it seems that they are at war with us.

The Nairobi terrorist attack

CNN breaking news last night:

'Al-Shabaab tweets that all Muslims were escorted out of Nairobi mall before violence, says it won't negotiate.'
Racist terrorist murderers? No, the BBC prefer to describe them thus 'The Somali militant group al-Shabab has said it carried out the attack.'

The BBC just disgust me more each day.

Latest figures for this latest Islamist terrorist atrocity is that Thirty-nine people are dead and 293 have been treated at area hospitals.

'a possible terrorist attack'

The BBC report on the latest Islamist terrorist attrocity, this time in Nairobi's Westgate shopping centre, includes these lines:
'A senior police officer originally said it was an attempted robbery but later called it a possible terrorist attack.

The Somali militant group al-Shabab had threatened to strike the centre.'

'...the Kenyan Secretary for the Interior Joseph ole Lenku said the security situation was "under control".

He urged the public "not to speculate" about the nature of the attack, and said most people had been evacuated.'

and further down the report this:

'Some of the attackers were reportedly dressed in hijabs, and it is unclear whether they were men or women, our correspondent says.
...

Witnesses told news agencies the gunmen ordered Muslims to leave and that non-Muslims would be targeted.'

Let's see how a news organisation that isn't in love with Islamist terrorism reports the same story, ABC News for example:
'Gunmen threw grenades and opened fire Saturday killing at least 10 people in an attack targeting non-Muslims at an upscale mall in Kenya's capital that was hosting a children's day event, witnesses said.'
Oddly the BBC don't mention the children's day event, presumably because they want to minimise censure of the terrorists, sorry militants.

'Elijah Kamau, who was at the mall at the time of the midday attack, said that the gunmen made a declaration that non-Muslims would be targeted.
"The gunmen told Muslims to stand up and leave. They were safe, and non-Muslims would be targeted," he said.'
So they only killed non-Muslims, so their motive would be? Almost impossible to work out isn't it? Well it is if you support Islamist terrorism, otherwise it's f***ing obvious.

Mind you the equally soft on Islamist terrorism CNN are reporting in their CNN Breaking News email that:

'The gunmen shot indiscriminately and took some people hostage at the mall, a senior Kenyan government source said.'
'indiscriminately'- It seems that they were very discriminating, only kuffr were killed.

Sharia Law in Uganda: Converts out of Islam Acid Attacked - Atlas Shrugs

'Senior Pastor/Bishop Umar Mulinde of Gospel Life Church International outside Kampala has begun facial reconstruction after assailants who shouted "Allahu Akbar [God is greater]" cast acid on him on Christmas Eve 2011, while Christian school founder Hassan Muwanguzi of eastern Uganda is homeless and facing death threats from Islamic extremists who burned down his house.

"Acid damaged my face beyond what we had initially thought," Mulinde recently wrote to Morning Star News from Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer (near Tel Aviv), Israel, "causing a very terrible wound, nearly cutting off my head, right eye, ear, nose and causing serious deforming scars, but praise God that He helped me to get good medication and prayers of the saints worldwide, otherwise I almost died."'
Even in Christian majority countries, large Muslim minorities are flexing their muscles and implementing sharia law.

Religious Freedom

The Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), an independent advisory body created by the International Religious Freedom Act to monitor religious freedom abuses internationally, released its 2013 report, which idenitifes “governments that are the most egregious violators.”

The 15 countries are Burma, China, Eritrea, Iran, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Iraq, Nigeria, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Vietnam, all of which severely restrict independent religious activity and harass individuals and groups for religious activity or beliefs. These nations are classified as Tier 1 “countries of particular concern” (CPCs) in the report.

Burma -  Military government of a particularly nasty type
China - Single party Communist state
Eritrea - Single party state split 62.5% Christian, 36.5% Muslim
Iran - Islamic republic under Shariah Law
North Korea - One party authoritarian regime, based on Communism (shh)
Saudi Arabia - Islamic republic under Shariah Law
Sudan - Single party Islamic state
Uzbekistan - Former part of Communist Soviet Union
Egypt - Islamic state, now under partial control of Muslim Brotherhood
Iraq - Islamic state with troubled past and future
Nigeria - Troubled African country, approx 50% Muslim and 50% Christian
Pakistan - Islamic state
Tajikistan - Former part of Communist Soviet Union
Turkmenistan - Former part of Communist Soviet Union
Vietnam - Communist state

So of the 15 above countries:
Islamic - 6
Large part Islamic -2
Communist or ex Communist - 6
Military government - 1

Isn't Libya a nice place now!

Do you see the special attention paid to the Jewish soldier's grave stone?

The scary thing is how many Muslims in Western countries would do the same if they thought that they could get away with it.

It's spot the missing word time

The BBC report that:
'At least 10 people have been killed in attacks on churches in the Kenyan town of Garissa near Somalia, police say. "So far we have at least 10 killed, and more than 40 wounded," regional deputy police chief Philip Ndolo told Reuters.'
Read the whole article and see if you can spot who the culprits might be? There is a clue in the article:
'Kenya's border region has been tense since it sent troops into Somalia to pursue al-Shabab Islamic militants. Kenya said the operations, launched last October, were designed to bring an end to kidnappings on Kenyan soil and other violence which it blamed on al-Shabab.'
So might the culprits be Islamist terrorists operating under the al-Shabab banner? That's a question that the BBC will do their utmost to not ask.

The BBC and Muhammad Morsi

Muhammad Morsi is the Muslim Brotherhood's candidate for Egyptian President who recently said that he will "achieve the Islamic conquest of Egypt for the second time, and make all Christians convert to Islam, or else pay the jizya," this being the Islamic tax required to be paid by non-Muslim 'dhimmis' in Islamic states.

This was reported in El Bashayer on May 27. Muhammad Morsi apparently made these comments while speaking with a journalist at the headquarters of the Muslim Brotherhood's Freedom and Justice Party. He is alleged to have added "We will not allow Ahmed Shafiq [his opponent for President] or anyone else to impede our second Islamic conquest of Egypt."

Muhammad Morsi was asked what he thought about the large numbers of Christian Copts who were, not surprisingly, coming out to vote for his more secular opponent, Muhammad Morsi reportedly said that "They need to know that conquest is coming, and Egypt will be Islamic, and that they must pay jizya or emigrate."

I can't find these comments on the BBC news website. Are the BBC still pushing the lie that the Arab spring has brought forth democracy and that the Muslim Brotherhood are not at all Islamist but are multicultural democrats?

Just what the world needs - another Islamist state

The BBC report that:
'Mali Tuareg and Islamist rebels agree on Islamist state

Two rebel groups that seized northern Mali two months ago have agreed to merge and turn their territory into an Islamist state, both sides say.

The Tuareg MNLA, a secular rebel group, and the Islamist group Ansar Dine signed the deal in the town of Gao, spokespeople said.

Ansar Dine, which has ties to al-Qaeda, has already begun to impose Sharia, or Islamic law, in towns such as Timbuktu.'
Do read the whole article and wonder at the desire for Islamic states amongst so many people and how many non-Muslim Mali people will have to flee from The Islamic Republic of Azawad to escape persecution for being non-Muslims.

Interestingly the BBC seem reluctant to inform their readers what an Islamic state means for 'ordinary people'. CNN are less coy:
'In the besieged towns, drinking, smoking, listening to music, watching soccer on TV and playing video games have been banned in what now seems to be a preparation for the creation of an Islamic state.'
So another African country succumbs to Islam, and violent Islam at that. Who's next?

Tuesday, 24 April 2012

Well nobody saw that coming

The BBC report that:
'South Sudan's President Salva Kiir says Sudan has "declared war" on his country, following weeks of fighting along their common border.

Mr Kiir was speaking in China, which is a major buyer of oil from both countries but has long been an ally of Sudan's President Omar al-Bashir.'
Read the BBC report is there a word noticeable by its absence?

Yes, not a mention of the main reason why South Sudan wanted independence and the difference between the two countries... Islam.

Saturday morning catch-up

The usual story too many tabs and not enough time

1) WND reports that: 'Attacks on Christians are surging in Kenya, and analysts say Islamic radicals are putting a bull’s-eye on the community.'

2) The Telegraph have an article that I confidently predict will never feature on the BBC, it's entitled 'The Obama administration’s top 10 foolish quotes of 2011'. Here's three:
'7. The US Ambassador to Belgium blames Israel for some forms of anti-Semitism

Not to be outdone by James Clapper's ridiculous testimony, US Ambassador to Belgium Howard Gutman sparked outrage in December with his comments suggesting Israel should shoulder the blame for some forms of anti-Semitism, remarks that even the Obama administration itself tried to disown. According to a report by Haaretz, Gutman declared:

"A distinction should be made between traditional anti-Semitism, which should be condemned, and Muslim hatred for Jews, which stems from the ongoing conflict between Israel and the Palestinians,” Gutman reportedly told those gathered, going on to argue that “…an Israeli-Palestinian peace treaty will significantly diminish Muslim anti-Semitism."

8. Hillary Clinton calls the Mubarak regime “stable”

It’s fair to say that the Obama administration’s approach to the Middle East has been one of incompetence matched only by naïveté. From extending the hand of friendship to the Iranian regime through to a complete misreading of the situation in both Egypt and Syria, the Obama team has been out of its depth, demonstrated by Hillary Clinton’s assessment of the situation in Egypt in the final days of the Mubarak regime, given here during remarks with Spanish foreign minister Trinidad Jimenez in Washington on January 25, two weeks before Mubarak fell on February 11:

But our assessment is that the Egyptian Government is stable and is looking for ways to respond to the legitimate needs and interests of the Egyptian people.

9. Hillary Clinton refers to Syrian dictator Assad as a “reformer”

The Secretary of State was woefully caught out as well on Syria, hesitating to forcefully condemn the brutal repression meted out by the Syrian regime against democracy protestors. Asked in March on CBS's "Face the Nation" why the US administration was adopting a far softer approach towards Bashar al-Assad compared to Colonel Gaddafi in Libya she explained that Syria was led by a “reformer”, albeit one who subsequently went on to butcher more than 3,000 people:

There’s a different leader in Syria now. Many of the members of Congress of both parties who have gone to Syria in recent months have said they believe he’s a reformer.'

3) Seattle pi reports on a rather strange TSA related story:
'A woman who just flew back home from Las Vegas says an airport security officer confiscated her frosted cupcake because he thought the icing on it could be a security risk.'

Islamists don't hate Israel, they hate Jews

From Tunisia:
'Hordes of Western, modern-looking Muslims attack the Great Synagogue of Tunis to the chants of "Allahua Akbar!" and the genocial Islamic death chant:

"Khaybar Khaybar ya yahud, Jaish Muhammad saya'ud," which means "Jews, remember Khyabar, the army of Mohammed is returning." This cry relates to an event in the seventh century when Muslims massacred and expelled Jews from the town of Khaybar, in modern-day Arabia.'
Over much of the Middle East Islamists attack and kill Jews for being Jewish and yet the BBC have this on their page about Tunisia's Jews:
'Today there are armed guards outside the Great Synagogue in Tunis and those few threats are being taken seriously.

But others take an upbeat view. A community that has been here for 3,000 years intends to remain, and is indeed encouraging Jews who have left, to return to what is hopefully a more tolerant, stable country.'
Why are the BBC so determined to hide the truth about how Islamists view and treat Jews?
