"Brown 'confused'"

The BBC report the words of Abdalla Salem El-Badri of Opec who commented on Gordon Brown's warning that "wild fluctuations" in prices in recent years had damaged the global economy. Mr El-Badri further remarked that
"Instead of looking at Opec he should look at his policies and try to reduce taxes... Then he can talk to us."
Mr El-Badri also pointed out that the UK had the highest taxes on petrol and oil extraction "in Europe".

I am no fan of OPEC but even they can spot a knave when they see or hear one.
