Another reason to vote Farage

The sight of John Bercow pretending to reluctantly take The Speaker's chair made me feel quite nauseous as it was clear to many observers of the political scene that he had been after the position of Speaker for quite some time. So it was with no great shock that I read on Lobby Dog that
"Lobbydog got a sniff of the full extent of his machinations earlier today when he was talking with defeated Speaker candidate Margaret Beckett.

She revealed that while she was canvassing support for her campaign MPs told her they’d been approached by Bercow for their backing up to three years earlier.

It seems he had been gathering names, possibly as early as 2006, and was waiting for the opportunity.

Between 2006 and 2009 came the years that Bercow was also active in working with the Labour Government, leading to defection rumours but boosting his cross-party credentials."
So I call upon all Conservative voters to get out and vote for Nigel Farage at the General Election so the new House of Commons can have a Speaker that represents it, not the discredited old Chamber. Bercow, Bercow, Bercow; out, out out!
