Azerbaijani donkey bloggers

This is the YouTube video posted by two Azerbaijani bloggers, Adnan Hajizade, 26, and Emin Milli, 29, that has resulted in them facing up to seven years in prison.

It would seem that the pair are "well-known youth activists who have used online networking tools, including Youtube, Facebook and Twitter, to disseminate information about the socio-political situation in Azerbaijan".

This did not go down well with the authorities in Azerbaijan and so the arrest and charges may be somewhat political, attacking opponents of the Azerbaijan regime.

Reporters without Borders described the affair as "typical of arbitrary judicial decisions taken with government opponents", while a UN human rights committee statement condemned "extensive limitations to the right to freedom of expression in Azerbaijan".

So if you hear the cry of "justice for the Azerbaijan donkey two", you'll know to what it refers...
