Where's Gaza?
The BBC illustrate their report of the crashed Russian aeroplane with a map of the Sinai.
Now this map doesn't name Egypt's neighbours, and the BBC standard explanation for that is that it is their convention not to name countries that aren't pertinent to the story. Whatever you think of that explanation, the BBC are at least fairly consistent in the way that they apply it.
Now take a second look at that map, do you spot the omission? To the north east of the Sinai is Israel, however much the BBC might wish it wasn't, but also is Gaza. Odd that the BBC don't mark this territory separately. If I had the time I might create a fake identity, that of a obsessive supporter of the Palestinian people, and complain that the BBC were guilty of wiping Gaza off the map - but don't!

Presumably the BBC will claim that he's being mistranslated and means Jews but that'll be as convincing as when they tried to persuade us of that re Lyse Doucet's Gaza documentary.

Gaza University Dean of Quranic Studies Approves Killing Jewish Women and Children
Dr. Subhi Al-Yaziji, Dean of Quranic Studies at the Islamic University of Gaza, recently said: "All Jews in Palestine today are fair game - even the women." "Every single Jew in Palestine is a combatant, even the children," he said. In the Hamas Al-Aqsa TV interview, aired on October 16, 2015, Al-Yaziji further said that terror attacks "should be carried out in the very heart of the enemy - in Haifa, Jaffa, Tel Aviv, and Hadera."
Something that the institutionally anti Israel BBC will not report.

That reminds me - another Palestinian mother
Yesterday's post reminded me of some video that I have posted previously. It's of another Palestinian mother, this time one whose young son had a heart complaint and was treated free of charge in an Israeli hospital. Watch the whole video, see how she is amazed by the generosity of the Jewish people bringing presents and giving to all patients whether Jewish or Muslim but also...
Please explain how Israel can make peace with people who can have their child treated in an Israeli hospital but also say that:
"Death is natural for us, we're not afraid to die"
"It's a religious thing. It's heresy to say that Jerusalem isn't ours."
"Life is precious but not to us. We feel that life is nothing. Life isn't worth a thing. That's why we have suicide bombers. They're not afraid to die, it's natural."
"We cry out in joy and celebrate when someone becomes a shahid (martyr)"
"Life isn't precious"

Parts of London have higher TB rates than Iraq or Rwanda per BBC News
The BBC report that parts of London now have a rate of tuberculosis infection higher than Rwanda or Iraq. The BBC report is keen to persuade is not to blame this on immigration:
'The rate of infection among UK-born Londoners has risen, while among the non-UK-born it has fallen - and the report said it would be wrong to assume TB was a disease of migrants.'
Of course rates are not measures of absolute numbers and that last section isn't saying what the BBC wants you to think that it is.
The BBC want you to think that line says that it would be wrong to assume TB was a disease caused by immigration. Whereas it actually means that TB is no longer a disease just of migrants because it has spread.
I read that BBC report and was reminded of a report I read back in the early 2000s that said that mass immigration from Eastern Europe was bringing with it TB, a disease that had all but been eradicated from the UK. I seem to remember that claim being dismissed as racist at the time and the fuss went away, unlike the TB.
Take a look at this New Scientist report from January this year. Here's a section that needs wider attention:
'Russia and Eastern Europe still have high rates of MDR TB today. Spiro says that many of the cases he sees in London, the TB capital of Europe, can be traced back to those countries. "The control over treatment regimes out there is dreadful," he says. "It's chaos." The number of MDR cases has been rising in England from 28 cases per year in 2000 to 81 cases in 2012.'
So do you believe the, so far as I am aware, independent New Scientist or the decidedly pro immigration BBC? The choice is yours.

Passing through downtown, they were attacked by a young man of Arab appearance"."The young man shouted "Yahud (Jew), Allah Akbar' and attacked the rabbi with his fists while shouting 'Itbah al-Yahud' (Slaughter the Jews), and the rabbi fell to the floor. A Jew who went to the side of the rabbi tried to protect him, but the young man pulled out a knife and stabbed the man in the abdomen. The Rabbi, Baruch Hashem (Thank G-d), was not hurt and continued to shul, but the Jew who was stabbed was rushed to the emergency room, where doctors said it was a real miracle, and that the knife was blocked due to the heavy coat he was wearing, and if not for the coat, the injury could have been critical."'

This is the sort of article that journalists at the institutionally anti Israel BBC should be made to read, that MPs current and past like Richard Burden, Lynn Jones and Gerald Kaufman should be questioned about when they make their claims of Palestinian sovereignty, and that every pro Palestinian/anti Israel campaigner should be made to read as well.
