"Speaker's expenses being probed "

Not before time I learn that The Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards has begun a preliminary investigation into Commons Speaker Michael Martin's use of expenses.

I do hope this is not an April Fool, just an enquiry into a fool's misuse of expenses.
