'Hear our prayer'

Man Made Climate Change activists are often accused of following a new religion, now it seems that the Church has followed over the EU. From a service held at Westminster Abbey yesterday:
'The Very Reverend Dr John Arnold OBE, citizen of the United Kingdom:
Giving thanks for the vision, courage, and example of Robert Schuman, let us pray for the European Union: for all its citizens; for those who hold positions of responsibility; for continued growth in mutual understanding, cooperation, and trust between its member states; and for the health of our relations with nations throughout the world.

Lord in your mercy:

Hear our prayer.

The Reverend Maria Onuigbo, citizen of Finland:
Let us pray for the President and Members of the European Parliament, and for all European citizens responsible for their election: that MEPs may represent their people with diligence and faithfulness. Let us pray too, at this time, for those recently elected to the Parliament of this United Kingdom, and for their service to this nation.

Lord in your mercy:

Hear our prayer.

The Reverend Peter Boyland, citizen of Ireland:
Let us pray for those who make and administer the law, and for all who uphold justice within our borders: for the European Commission, and the Council of the European Union; for the Court of Justice of the European Communities, and The European Court of Human Rights. That your ways may be known among us, and your saving health among the nations;

Lord in your mercy:

Hear our prayer.'
Unfortunately these people are for real as they pray for the organisation that tramples on individual rights, brooks no opposition and is profoundly anti-democratic.
