Some pieces that I think might be of interest.

1. The Telegraph reports that another of the PIIGS countries is being pushed towards taking the EU's money and so losing more sovereignty.

2. Greta Wire has an interesting outlook on the shooting of Gabrielle Giffords and others.

3. The BBC reports that: 'Men and women have been banned from shaking hands in a district of Somalia controlled by the Islamist group al-Shabab.'

4. Max Atkinson has a low opinion of Ed Miliband's oratorial skills and wonders if there may be a link with Neil Kinnock.

5. Autonomous Mind has a suggestion as to what you could do if your bins were uncollected for some weeks.

6. Sky News reports that 'The Italian Job' was voted the best British film of all time in a Sky Movies HD poll.

7. Here's a link to a BBC report about a 'Democrat with sights on Obama's policies'. Puts the lie to the BBC/Democrat line that Republicans are somehow to blame for the shooting of Gabrielle Giffords and others.

8. American Patriots Commission are also pretty p***ed at the liberal media's blaiming the shooting of Gabrielle Giffords and others on Republican rhetoric. They've found some instances of off-color Democrat rhetoric:
'** Obama: “They Bring a Knife…We Bring a Gun”
** Obama to His Followers: “Get in Their Faces!”
** Obama on ACORN Mobs: “I don’t want to quell anger. I think people are right to be angry! I’m angry!”
** Obama to His Mercenary Army: “Hit Back Twice As Hard”
** Obama on the private sector: “We talk to these folks… so I know whose ass to kick.
** Obama to voters: Republican victory would mean “hand to hand combat
** Obama to lib supporters: “It’s time to Fight for it.”
** Obama to Latino supporters: “Punish your enemies.”
** Obama to democrats: “I’m itching for a fight.”'
 9. Agency Fusion wants us to 'Take a break from work and do the world a favor. Kill Comic Sans'

10.  Fox News reports the incredible news that 'Magnetic North Pole Shifts, Forces Runway Closures at Florida Airport'
