Someone is shot in America, so the BBC try to lay some blame at Sarah palin's feet

The BBC report the terrible shooting of Democratic Representative Gabrielle Giffords and two others but include this rather odd passage in their report.
'She upset Arizona conservatives by supporting Mr Obama's healthcare reform bill last year.

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, a conservative Republican, placed Ms Giffords on a list of politicians she wanted to remove from office in mid-term elections last November.

Ms Palin has issued a statement offering her condolences to the families of Ms Giffords and the other victims of the attack.'
What I have read about Jared Loughner, seems to point to him being very disturbed young man with rather odd political views. His writings on MySpace and elsewhere and the recollections of his friends seem to point to him not being a Tea party supporter but a political radical. Not that the BBC will care, mud will be thrown at Sarah Palin in the hope that some of it sticks. The BBC's hatred for Sarah Palin would be quite amusing if it was not so dangerous for democracy.
