Speed Camera information to be made public

Kable are reporting that:
'The Department for Transport is proposing that councils and police will have to publish data about speed cameras.

The data could include accident rates at speed camera sites, vehicle speeds and the numbers of drivers prosecuted or offered training after offences recorded on camera.'
The legislation is scheduled for implementation in April, when we should be able to see how many lives are really saved by speed cameras. I wonder if we will also be able to compare accident rates before and after camera installation?
