Disaster is always around the corner

The Global Warming/Man Made Climate  Change fanatics are always pointing to scientific predictions of forthcoming disaster as a way of urging us to reduce CO2 emissions and cut back on industry in the west. The trouble is that they have been doing this for so long that the timescale of some of the predictions has now been & gone and oddly the predictions have not come true. There a quite a lot of predictions form the late 1990s and early 2000s that this holds for and I will try and blog about more of these over the coming months but I thought I would start with one from the United Nations Environment Programme. In 2005 this organisation predicted that climate change would create 50 million climate refugees by 2010. Did that happen? If it did then the world's environmental organisations failed to report it.

The point being that scare tactics are all these activists have, apart of course from rigged data and questionable science, so the watermelon brigade (Green on the outside but red on the inside) issue their warnings so as to try and redistribute money and destroy western economies.

Meanwhile the activists' accomplices in the leftist media, such as the BBC, faithfully report the predictions of doom and gloom but neglect to report when the predictions are shown to have been wrong
