BBC - A new year but the same old bias

I see that the BBC have not turned over a new leaf with their coverage of UK politics. Their UK politics home page is showing as top story this: "Kenyan violence must end - Brown - Gordon Brown renews his plea for Kenya's political leaders to enter talks aimed at ending the violence." Positive view of Gordon Brown.

The second story is "PM signals first NHS constitution - Prime Minister Gordon Brown says NHS reforms could be enshrined in a new constitution." Positive view of Gordon Brown.

The third story is "Post Office closures review call - An MP calls for a full review of planned Post Office closures in Scotland, expected to be outlined in January." Positive view of a SNP MP.

The selected "other top stories" are:

"Clegg pledging to fight ID cards" Positive view of Lib Dem leader

"Tories 'resonating', admits Straw" A warning from Jack Straw that the Conservative party might be popular which is a bad thing. Right at the end of the article is scant coverage of David Cameron's New Year's message.

"Police offer Smith 'olive branch'" Coverage of Jacqui Smith's issues with a positive slant towards the Labour government.

"Parents urged to read to children" Positive coverage of Ed Balls most recent statement of the bleedin' obvious.

"First NHS e-records uploaded" Generally positive coverage of the NHS online database.

As usual the BBC are shilling for their masters in the Labour party. After the Labour debacle at the end of 2007, the plan is to boost Gordon Brown's image and to denigrate David Cameron and the Conservatives image wherever possible; and if that is not possible then to simply ignore any positive stories about the Conservative party.

You should listen to the debate on the 40th anniversary of Radio 4 broadcast last night (check for a podcast).
Not one word on bias and all the participants were united in their praise of the service and especially of the (very biased) Today programme.
When asked on negative feedback again no mention of bias or of one dimensional news reporting.

This is typical of the BBC approach to politics, since Labour came to power.
The next Conservative will have jump on the BBC very quickly, and put an end to the this left-wing propaganda machine. The BBC website will be a new and very influential weapon that was not a factor during the last Conservative government. The BBC has to be reduced to tiny public service broadcaster, with their influence/audiences, greatly diminished.

May I suggest you complain EVERY time you notice any pro-Labour bias. I appreciate it is an onerous task but if enough of us keep complaining - they may get the message. The BBC now tell me they are well aware of my repeated complaints but I still keep complaining!

"Right at the end of the article is scant coverage of David Cameron's New Year's message."

This is the hubris of politicians to believe that we give a damn about their New Year messages.
I didn't hear Cameron's, what did I miss? Something about the myth of man-made global warming?
These bumptious fools must be made to realise that they are not pontiffs or monarchs, such that they can spout New Year "messages".
They are simply unrepresentative power-hungry control freaks with their corrupt snouts in the trough, sitting on a bandwagon atop a gravy train.
Reprobates.
As for the BBC, I agree that it is so culturally biased that it is beyond reforming, and submit that the only solution is to close it down.
