More Labour government control-freakery

"Patients could be required to stop smoking, take exercise or lose weight before they can be treated on the National Health Service, Gordon Brown has suggested". Do read the rest of the article in today's Daily Telegraph.

"In a New Year message to NHS staff, the Prime Minister indicates people may have to fulfil new "responsibilities" in order to establish their entitlement to care. The new conditions could be set out in a formal NHS "constitution", Mr Brown says"

This Labour government is back on its control-freakery agenda; they are our betters, they know how we should live and they will make sure we live that way. This sort of policy allied with the The National Identity database will help us citizens to be lead into the promised land of state surveillance and control.

Dn't forget "If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face—for ever."
