China's human rights record is getting worse, not better, because of the Beijing Olympics, so says Amnesty International. What a surprise, giving the Olympics to China has not opened up China or brought freedom of speech and expression to China, instead it has brought a clamping down on dissent in a bid to portray a stable and harmonious image of China ahead of the Games in August.
