The Labour line

"The Tories' policies are going to come under increased scrutiny".

Hariett Harman has said it, so has the Hazel Blears and a Labour spin doctor has just said it. According the last of these three, people only voted Conservative as a protest vote on minor issues but will return to Labour once they start to look at the major issues; even Victoria Derbyshire sounded less than convinced.

I presume the above is the decided Labour line to follow on from calling David Cameron a "mere salesman" and continuing to claim that the Conservative party have no policies. I would also predict that Gordon Brown will continue to ask questions of David Cameron at PMQs and will be fed some patsy questions from tame Labour backbenchers allowing him to attack David Cameron as well.
