The news that Gordon Brown donated items including two of his children's teddy bears to charity leave me with three questions. One why he had to make these donations public, does he really need public approval that badly? Did Gordon Brown's two children want their teddies to be given away, or were these not in fact much loved children's teddies but props? Finally what happened to Gordon Brown's protestations that he would not involve his family in his public life?
Sorry one final question, how is Gordon Brown doing in his new role as backbench MP? Has he made any speeches, attended any debates? Or his he glowering back in his Scottish constituency?
