Someone at MSNBC has got close to realising what the mainstream media got wrong. Of course the problem has being going on for much longer than this Presidential Election campaign. The problem runs much deeper than just opposing Donald Trump. Much of the mainstream media in the USA and elsewhere including the BBC, have ceased to be journalists and instead have become propagandists.
