Go and read Matthew Norman's article in The Independent entitled "Could it be that Brown is worse than Blair?". It's all worth a read but I especially enjoyed this passage - "At least when Tony Blair took a shocking decision, be it about Iraq or education or scrapping habeas corpus, he went in front of the cameras, or even the Commons, to argue his case with all the deranged passion at his disposal. He was, in this sense, a pretty straight kinda pathological liar. Gordon skulks in Downing Street, manipulating his marionettes, and through them public opinion, while playing the detached democrat. I know which approach I dislike least."
You almost have to feel sorry for Gordon, well maybe not.
