My heroes in 1978 - and then a stray into some other music of 1978

They were the act that finally knocked "Mull of Kintyre" off the Number One position in the UK singles charts and in 1978 that really mattered to me. Paul McCartney's music had a place in my heart but Mull of Kintyre did not. Mind you after one week Brotherhood of Man and "Figaro" replaced Althea and Donna's "Uptown top rankin'", maybe that's when I lost faith in the charts...
