Whilst we are still allowed the remnants of free speech, I will speak out.

Is this any way for a serious news broadcaster to cover a set of major elections? This is pathetic, I am embarrassed to watch it. Why can the BBC not cover an important story in an adult way? Are they deliberately trying to trivialise this important subject? Did they have a bet on as to how low they could pitch their coverage? Maybe for the next General Election they could ask Chris Tarrant, Lenny Henry and Sally James to host an election night Tiswas as part of the coverage - putting the studio representatives from each of the main parties in the gunge tank and getting the flan flinger to surprise politicians whilst being interviewed.
