Newssniffer reveals an interesting change in the BBC's reporting of John Cruddas's comments on the Daily Politics show (my emphasis) The 14:21 version reports:
"Labour backbencher Jon Cruddas told BBC Two's Daily Politics the case of Baby P was "beyond politics" adding: "David Cameron was absolutely right to raise it.""The 15:21 version reports:
"Labour backbencher Jon Cruddas told BBC Two's Daily Politics the case of Baby P was "beyond politics" adding that Mr Brown's answers did "shine a positive light" on his party."It was not until 16:11 that the report corrected that to:
"Labour backbencher Jon Cruddas told BBC Two's Daily Politics the case of Baby P was "beyond politics" adding that Mr Brown's answers did not "shine a positive light" on his party."
What is it with the BBC and their compulsion to spin everything to Gordon Brown's advantage?
