What on earth could be the cause of such violence and anger?

What was the cause? It must have been something really vile and provocative; maybe a racist was making a speech. Not quite, although in the eyes of the thugs it was vile and provocative - Sweden were playing against Israel in the Davis Cup and the matches were being played in Malmo so out came the thugs. The result was that the matches were played without any spectators and Israel beat Sweden 3-2. I have seen no reporting of the violent protests at this sporting occasion just as there was no discernible UK coverage of the banning of Shahar Pe'er from the Dubai tournament. Anyone could be excused for thinking that the UK media were trying to keep these stories from the UK population.
