Is the EU imploding or becoming more powerful?

Nigel Farage's speech last week to the EU Parliament and one that is quite scary in its accusations about Communists running the EU and its predictions that it is Greece today but Spain, Portugal and Ireland tomorrow. "It will fall to pieces and as far as the peoples of Europe are concerned the sooner the better..."

I look forward to Nigel Farage expressing such views at Westminster after the general election, surely he can defeat the increasingly unpleasant Speaker Bercow. If Nigel Farage is elected then I doubt that the BBC and other UK media will find it quite so easy to ignore him and his views.
