Cheaper alternative to the Royal navy's ordered aircraft carriers?

The Spanish designed and built Navantia LHDs, entering service with Spanish and Australian navies. Could these do a job for the UK?

Thanks to Theo Spark for the spot.

Looks like an 'Ark Royal' Mk11.Designed to carry Harriers, which rub salt into the wound, looks like a cheaper alternative, though too late now.Thank you Mr.Broon.

HMS Ocean, without a ski ramp. The QE2 class will be twice the size and have a design life of 50 years.

If we ordered an LPH when would we get it with three already in the queue? When we eventually got it what would we fly off it? Life-expired Harriers?

It has a skiramp type end. How many of these could we buy for the cost of one, let alone two of the QE class? Would it not be cheaper and more efficient to have kept Ark Royal in service until two of these could be in service? How much cheaper would AV-8Bs be than F35 carrier borne planes?
