Is 9-9-9 the answer?

In the USA Herman Cain is trying to get the Republican nomination for Presidential candidate and then become the USA's first black President (Trolls, think before you write). Herman Cain is a fiscal conservative and one of his main proposals is the catchily-phrased 9-9-9 tax policy. Herman Cain wants to take the revolutionary step of ditching the current American taxation system and replacing it with a flat income tax rate of nine per cent, corporate tax rate of nine per cent and a national sales tax of nine per cent. Before you say 'that won't work', do bear in mind that the USA does not have a national sales tax (along the lines of VAT) although individual states do have state sales taxes. Herman Cain also plans on ending all tax deductions & exemptions and abolishing estate taxes & capital gains tax.

It's an interesting solution and one that might be of interest to the 'flat rate of tax' proponents in the UK. Is the US ready for such radical tax policies? Somehow I think that the American leftists and their media allies will attack, attack, attack as nothing must be allowed to stop the fiscally inept Obamamessiah from getting re-elected. Is the US ready for a black US President? Somehow I think that the the American leftists and their media allies will attack, attack, attack as nothing must be allowed to stop the half-black Obamamessiah from getting re-elected.
