Italy election:BBC News think it's been 'divisive'

This BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-43272700 contains this lead in thought:

'Italians are voting after a divisive election campaign dominated by concerns over immigration and the economy.'

Aren't most election campaigns 'divisive' after all in democratic elections people tend to disagree with each other. Maybe the BBC look forward to an end to 'divisiveness' when a proper left wing Labour government sorts out 'democracy' so only correct views can be expressed, only approved candidates stand for office and only one political party exist.

After all why would anyone want any party other than the People's Labour Party in power? Are you some sort of fascist?
