First read this BBC report and can you see what piece of information is missing? I'll give you a clue, it's in this Liverpool Daily Post report.
The BBC report it as "John Walker, 57, who was mayor of Sefton, and his wife Catie, 43" whilst the Liverpool Daily Post report it as "John Walker, 57, the former Labour mayor of Sefton, Merseyside, and his wife Catie, 49". Ignoring the six year discrepancy in the reporting of his wife's age, why do you think the BBC missed out the political allegiance of the accused ex-Mayor? Do you think they would have mentioned his political allegiance if he had been a Conservative ex-Mayor?
