The next Labour government proposal?

Maybe the Labour government's next proposal will be to introduce "presumed voting" where you are deemed to have voted for the incumbent government (Labour) unless you actually vote for another party.

This change to electoral law could be proposed on the grounds that surely the fact that people don't bother to vote at the moment is an indication that they are happy with the way the country is being run and therefore would vote Labour if they weren't so satisfied.
