I think I see why the BBC are minimising the story of Russia's invasion of Georgia

DEBKA report that
"Israel backs Georgia in Caspian Oil Pipeline Battle with Russia - Georgian tanks and infantry, aided by Israeli military advisers, captured the capital of breakaway South Ossetia, Tskhinvali, early Friday, Aug. 8, bringing the Georgian-Russian conflict over the province to a military climax."
Israel are on the side of Georgia, therefore to the BBC mind Georgia must be in the wrong and Russia in the right. The fact that Georgia is being wooed by NATO, that puppet of the USA, must have made the BBC's decision even easier to make.
