Whilst you watch the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics with all their show and spectacle, I suggest you take a look at the following videos. The first set are about the Tienanmen Square Massacre of 1989. The videos are up at present but quite slow to run due to either many people trying to view them or the Chinese authorities trying to stop people from watching them by endlessly playing them. Do persevere as the Chinese regime must not be allowed to escape its recent past.
The second set are about the treatment of Tibet by the Chinese regime.
