Tony McNulty update

The Mail report that:
"Employment Minister Tony McNulty last night continued to deny any wrongdoing despite facing a possible police investigation over £60,000 of second-home expenses.

Scotland Yard confirmed it was considering a complaint – said to be from a fellow MP – that Mr McNulty may have ‘obtained a pecuniary advantage by deception’.

Mr McNulty, 51, was exposed by The Mail on Sunday in March for claiming public money to help pay the mortgage on a semi-detached home in his Harrow East constituency where his parents James and Eileen live. The property is just 11 miles from the House of Commons."

Read the rest of the article, get angry but above all realise that no prosecution will result from this police investigation the police or the CPS will declare that "a prosecution would not be in the public interest" or that there is "insufficient evidence to prosecute".
