John Prescott is not a figure of fun he has done as much to destroy the UK as Tony Blair most albeit not as much as Blair, Brown or Mandelson

"Former deputy prime minister John Prescott is to make a cameo appearance in BBC comedy Gavin and Stacey.

Character Nessa Jenkins - played by co-writer Ruth Jones - has referred to him several times as one of her old flames."

This reinvention of John Prescott must not be allowed to continue; look at his record and judge him on that not his willingness to appear on a TV comedy.
