'Scientists know... climate destiny is fixed... Rainfall will decline in the summer...' Really? Would these knowledgeable scientists care to comment on the wet summers of 2007, 2008, 2009 & so far 2010?

I'll grant you wet summers in 2007, 2008 and 2009, but not this year (at least in the East Midlands). There were a couple of weeks of showery weather earlier this month, but coolish cloudy weather since. Lots of showers forecast which never arrived. Hardly a barbecue summer again though.....
