Help wanted - Was it you?

Some time in the last two weeks I found a blog article that shredded the lie that 50% of UK exports go to the EU and thus we would be damaged by leaving the UK. I commeneted on the blog that I would check the figures there presented. Unfortunately I fnd that I have no record as to which blog I read this article on. I know its a long shot but can anyone else remember reading such an article?

I agree that we would be damaged by leaving the UK.

I don't think I can help you with the rest, but it is a fact that much of our EU trade is just goods shipped through Rotterdam, and likewise our purchases of items such as Russian gas would count as EU imports because the last leg of the contract is through Belgium.

I import a lot of leather fromn the Spain and Italy. When we send return loads back the carriage charge is always about half of the incomming charge because the trucking can't get return loads. On that basisI would suggest we import twice as much to the EU as we export to them. Are you going to tee off a good customer by jeopardising his trading relations. Are you b*****ks .
