Royal Mint rejected Roald Dahl coin over antisemitic views | Books per The Guardian

'Dahl told the New Statesman: "There is a trait in the Jewish character that does provoke animosity, maybe it's a kind of lack of generosity towards non-Jews. I mean, there's always a reason why anti-anything crops up anywhere; even a stinker like Hitler didn't just pick on them for no reason."

In an interview with the Independent in 1990, months before his death, he described himself as antisemitic and railed against the "Jewish-owned" media.

He told the publication: "It began in 1982 when the Israelis invaded Lebanon. They killed 22,000 civilians when they bombed Beirut. It was very much hushed up in the newspapers because they are primarily Jewish-owned …

"I'm certainly anti-Israeli and I've become antisemitic in as much as that you get a Jewish person in another country like England strongly supporting Zionism. I think they should see both sides. It's the same old thing: we all know about Jews and the rest of it. There aren't any non-Jewish publishers anywhere, they control the media – jolly clever thing to do – that's why the president of the United States has to sell all this stuff to Israel … "'

More here in The Guardian https://www.theguardian.com/books/2018/nov/06/royal-mint-roald-dahl-coin-antisemitic-views but obviously not on the antisemitic, by at least one of the IHRA examples, BBC.

I wonder if Jeremy Corbyn is a big fan of Roald Dahl's writing.

Hezbollah Terrorists Warn Israel: We Have the Rockets to Destroy You

'The leader of the Hezbollah terrorist organization warned Thursday his Lebanon-based group has acquired a stockpile of illicit weaponary and rockets despite traditional supply lines through war-torn Syria being cut.

"No matter what you do to cut the route, the matter is over and the resistance possesses precision and non-precision rockets and weapons capabilities," Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said, addressing Israel in a broadcast speech reported by Reuters.

"If Israel imposes a war on Lebanon, Israel will face a fate and a reality it has never expected on any day," he added.'

That's the Nasrallah who said getting Jews into Israel would make killing Jews easier. The same chap that lefty types see as a freedom fighter. The same person who heads Hezbollah, Jeremy Corbyn's "friends". The same terrorists who are supported by the Iranian regime, the one whose state TV station Jeremy Corbyn appeared on. What a delightful chap Jeremy Corbyn is.

Lebanon to elect its first new parliament since 2009 per BBC News

This BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-44020061 on Lebanon includes this line:

'Hezbollah, the armed group considered a terrorist organisation by the United States and others, is seeking to increase its parliamentary representation.'

Oddly the BBC don't also inform their readers of these words by the Hezbollah leader:

'Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah: "If Jews all gather in Israel, it will save us the trouble of going after them worldwide." (NY Times, May 23, 2004, p. 15, section 2, column 1.)'

Relevant surely, but not the sort of information that the BBC want the British people to have about an organisation that Jeremy Corbyn described as 'friends'.

BBC deliberately jumbles cause and effect, also amplifying disinformation in Iran drone story

The recent story of the Israeli shooting down of an Iranian drone and the subsequent events is yet another example of biased BBC reporting. Newswatch have an excellent report on this story https://bbcwatch.org/2018/02/11/bbc-jumbles-cause-and-effect-amplifies-disinformation-in-iran-drone-story-part-one/  Here is a short extract:

'As we see the BBC's reporting on this story focused primarily on the loss of an Israeli jet rather than on what caused that event – also the story's main issue – the attempt by Iran to infiltrate Israel. Not only did the BBC choose to amplify Iranian and Syrian disinformation on the story but it also implied to audiences that there is room for doubt regarding the veracity of official Israeli accounts.'

I would expect no better from the institutionally anti Israel BBC, what did the Balen Report reveal that was so bad that the BBC won't reveal its contents?

Bbcwatch also add something that had previously escaped me:

'... (BBC) failing to clarify that Iran's transfer of weapons to Hizballah in Lebanon breaches UN Security Council resolution 1701.'

The BBC is quick, even eager, to report Israel breaking UN resolutions but less so when it's Iran breaking the resolutions. The BBC's hatred for Israel, love for the word revolution (even when it's an Islamic revolution, and it's desire to avoid being negative about Islam means that this sort of biased reporting is to be expected. The BBC is a clear and present danger to Israel, the UK and civilisation.

Syria war: Israeli fighter jet crashes under Syria fire, military says per BBC News

This BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-43014081 ends with this:

'Iran - together with Russia - is a key supporter of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, whose troops have been fighting rebel groups since 2011.

Last November, a Western intelligence source told the BBC that Tehran was establishing a permanent military base inside Syria.Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned that "Israel will not let that happen".

Iran has faced accusations that it is seeking to establish not just an arc of influence but a logistical land supply line from Iran through to the Shia Hezbollah movement in Lebanon.'

Hezbollah? Has anybody asked Jeremy Corbyn what he thinks of his friends in Hezbollah receiving money and weapons from his former paymasters in Iran?

Iran cities hit by anti-government protests per BBC News

The BBC are distressed to report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-42512946 that there are protests against the Israel hating government of Iran. This is good news for believers in democracy but not for the institutionally anti Israel BBC.

'There is also anger at Iran's interventions abroad. In Mashhad, some chanted "not Gaza, not Lebanon, my life for Iran", a reference to what protesters say is the administration's focus on foreign rather than domestic issues.'

Would foreign issues be code for sponsoring Islamic terrorism?

Police 'warned' protesters not to carry Hezbollah terror flags per Jewish News

' Metropolitan Police officers are believed to have warned organisers of an anti-Balfour march that anyone flying Hezbollah flags is liable to be arrested.

The group behind an anti-Israel march in Grosvenor Square last week told supporters not to fly the flag of the Lebanon-based militia, which has thousands of rockets aimed at Israel, after advice from the police.'

More here http://jewishnews.timesofisrael.com/police-warned-protesters-not-to-carry-hezbollah-terror-flags/

Has anyone warned Jeremy Corbyn?

Also Hezbollah are on record as calling for the death of all Jews, not just Israelis. Has anyone told Jeremy Corbyn what his 'friends' want?

Corbyn Repeatedly Shared Platforms With Plane Hijacker per Guido Fawkes

Guido Fawkes has another report https://order-order.com/2017/05/30/corbyn-repeatedly-shared-platforms-with-plane-hijacker/ on Jeremy Corbyn's links to terrorists. Do read the whole report because you will not see this reported by the institutionally pro Labour Party BBC.

Here's an extract:

'In July 2011 both Corbyn and Khaled were keynote speakers at a pro-Palestine conference organised by George Galloway in Lebanon. On 18 May 2002, Corbyn and Khaled spoke on the same stage at a pro-Palestine protest in London. At the event Corbyn called for a full trade boycott of Israel, insisting there should be"no trade" with the country at all. On the same stage where Corbyn spoke, Khaled is quoted calling for "victory" over Israel and claimingZionism had "exceeded Nazism". "

Searching for peace" again, were you Jezza? '

Labour hypocrisy - London Mayor Sadiq Khan Hosting Party Tonight With 11 Nations Who Ban Israelis

'Just hours after demanding the government rescinds its invite to President Trump over his travel ban, Sadiq Khan will tonight host a City Hall reception with 11 dignitaries whose countries bar Israeli citizens from entering.

Bangladesh, Brunei, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Pakistan, Sudan, United Arab Emirates and Yemen will all be represented at the gathering of ambassadors this evening. All 11 of these countries block travel to Israeli passport holders.

Khan will use tonight's party to criticise Trump's ban as "cruel, prejudiced and counterproductive." While dining with 11 diplomats whose countries have done the same for years. '

The finest Labour hypocrisy but as it's anti Israel and by a senior London politician it won't be reported by the institutionally anti Israel and pro Labour Party BBC.

The President Donald Trump executive order on people coming to the USA from certain countries

The BBC are all over President Donald Trump's Executive Order to restrict visitors to the USA.

The BBC are totally against this restriction on free travel.

However try as I might I can find no similar opposition to the 16 countries who ban any visitors to their counties if they hold an Israeli passport

The sixteen countries that forbid admission to Israeli passport holders:  Algeria, Bangladesh, Brunei, Iran, Iraq,  Kuwait, Lebanon,  Libya,  Malaysia,  Oman, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia,  Sudan,  Syria,  United Arab Emirates, Yemen

Now if only I could work out what connects these sixteen countries...

Belgian police hunting teenager who pledged to 'kill all Christians' in online video

The Telegraph reports yet another Islamist terrorist story:
'Belgian police have launched a manhunt for a teenager after footage emerged of him calling for "the murder of all Christians".

The video shows the 15-year-old, who has not been named, in Verviers and, in Arabic, declaring, "Oh Allah, destroy the odious Christians. Oh Allah kill them all."

The boy is filmed on a French website saying, "Don't spare any of them."

The film was shot in Verviers, the scene of a successful anti-terrorism operation last year.

Police said the boy has been identified and is on a list of radicalised persons, but did not disclose his name. A source said the teenager, the son of a local radical imam, posed a potentially "serious threat" to the public and they wanted to trace him "as soon as possible."'
Well isn't that just dandy? Welcome to the future of Europe thanks to the idiocy of too many European politicians. Is Lebanon really the best model for a future Europe?

Some background on Orla Guerin

'In 2002, Guerin claimed she had been targeted by Israeli soldiers who, she said, deliberately shot at her during a demonstration in Bethlehem. A year later Israel boycotted the BBC after accusing her of "deep-seated bias" in her reports. Then, in 2006, during the war in Lebanon she was accused of misreporting when she claimed a town near the Israel border had been "wiped out" by Israeli forces. "I haven't seen a single building that isn't damaged in some way," she said.

But Alex Thomson, filing for Channel 4 from the same town, Bint Jbeil, on the same day, presented a different perspective. He reported that the suburbs of the town "are pretty much untouched by the Israeli attack".'
And people wonder why the BBC have kept the Balen Report secret, what did that report reveal?
More here http://www.standard.co.uk/news/the-secret-report-at-heart-of-bbc-s-gaza-paranoia-6870301.html but not in the BBC where the likes of Jeremy Bowen, Orla Guerin Yolande Knell and Lyse Doucett are given free reign.

Jeremy Corbyn's friends re-examined per The Jewish Chronicle

The whole of this JC article is worth a read http://www.thejc.com/news/uk-news/142706/jeremy-corbyns-friends-re-examined but especially the end:
'On Tuesday, several anti-Israel activists signed an open letter attacking the JC.
Signatories to the letter included Tony Greenstein, Professor Haim Bresheeth, Abe Hayeem, Miriam Margolyes, Professor Ilan Pappe and Michael Rosen.
...
The signatories to the letter claimed Mr Corbyn had "nothing to apologise for" following his meetings with representatives of Hamas and Hizbollah.

The letter continued: "Hamas was democratically elected in Palestinian elections generally accepted as fair, and Hizbollah also has strong electoral support in Lebanon."'

Absolutely Hezbollah has strong electoral support but then so did the Nazis, would the signatories of that letter have deemed meeting with them 'nothing to apologise for'?

Let's have a look at the people that Tony Greenstein, Professor Haim Bresheeth, Abe Hayeem, Miriam Margolyes, Professor Ilan Pappe and Michael Rosen think that meeting with are  'nothing to apologise for'.

Hamas in 2000 said:
'The so-called Holocaust, […] is an alleged and invented story with no basis. . . . The invention of these grand illusions of an alleged crime that never occurred, […] clearly reveals the racist Zionist face, which believes in the superiority of the Jewish race over the rest of the nations."'
So Holocaust denial is 'nothing to apologise for'?

Hamas's Charter says Jewish people "have only negative traits and are presented as planning to take over the world."

So anti Semitic slurs are 'nothing to apologise for' ?

Hezbollah's leader Hassan Nasrallah, speaking at the Shi'ite Moslem "Ashura" flagellation ceremony on 9 April 2000, said:
"The Jews invented the legend of the Nazi atrocities.... Anyone who reads the Koran and the holy writings of the monotheistic religions sees what they did to the prophets, and what acts of madness and slaughter the Jews carried out throughout history.... Anyone who reads these texts cannot think of co-existence with them, of peace with them, or about accepting their presence, not only in Palestine of 1948 but even in a small village in Palestine, because they are a cancer which is liable to spread again at any moment."'
So Holocaust denial and anti Semitism are 'nothing to apologise for'?

Hezbollah's leader Hassan Nasrallah was reported to have said:
"if [Jews] all gather in Israel, it will save us the trouble of going after them worldwide."

So anti Semitism and threats of a new Holocaust are 'nothing to apologise for'?

Hezbollah's leader Hassan Nasrallah who also said:
"If we searched the entire world for a person more cowardly, despicable, weak and feeble in psyche, mind, ideology and religion, we would not find anyone like the Jew. Notice, I do not say the Israeli."
So blatant anti Semitic slurs are also 'nothing to apologise for'?

If Jeremy Corbyn's supporters say that meeting with Hamas and Hezbollah is 'nothing to apologise for', bearing in mind the above, then what would they say would be worth apologising for?

An open letter to Jeremy Corbyn in Left Foot Forward by Alan Johnson

An interesting article that deserves wider readership.
Here's an extract, the bit relevant to Jeremy Corbyn's choice of 'friends':

'...  But you won't get my vote.

You won't get it because Labour's best traditions also include anti-fascism and internationalism while your support – to me, inexplicable and shameful –  for the fascistic and antisemitic forces of Hezbollah and Hamas flies in the face of those traditions. In particular, your full-throated cheer-leading for the vicious antisemitic Islamist Raed Salah is a deal-breaker.

Why did you lend your support to Raed Salah? No, he is not a 'critic of Israel', but a straight-up Jew hater.

You said in 2012, 'Salah is far from a dangerous man', even though the left-wing, anti-Netanyahu Israeli newspaper of record, Ha'aretz, reported that Salah was first charged with inciting anti-Jewish racism and violence in January 2008.

You said 'Salah is a very honoured citizen', even though Salah was found guilty of spreading the blood libel – the classic antisemitic slander that Jews use the blood of gentile children to make their bread. He did so during a speech on 16 February 2007 in the East Jerusalem neighbourhood of Wadi Joz.

I mean, just listen to Salah: 'We have never allowed ourselves to knead [the dough for] the bread that breaks the fast in the holy month of Ramadan with children's blood', he said. 'Whoever wants a more thorough explanation, let him ask what used to happen to some children in Europe, whose blood was mixed in with the dough of the holy bread.' (The UK Appeal Court decided that 'We do not find this comment could be taken to be anything other than a reference to the blood libel against Jews.' It also decided that this would 'offend and distress Israeli Jews and the wider Jewish community.')

You said: 'Salah represents his people extremely well', even though after the 9/11 terrorist attacks Salah wrote this in the October 5, 2001 issue of the weekly Sawt al-Haq w'al-Huriyya (Voice of Justice and Freedom): 'A suitable way was found to warn the 4,000 Jews who work every day at the Twin Towers to be absent from their work on September 11, 2001, and this is really what happened!

Were 4,000 Jewish clerks absent [from their jobs] by chance, or was there another reason? At the same time, no such warning reached the 2,000 Muslims who worked every day in the Twin Towers, and therefore there were hundreds of Muslim victims.'

You said 'Salah's is a voice that must be heard' even though he has called homosexuality a 'great crime' and recently [preached that 'Jerusalem will soon become the capital of the global caliphate' which will 'spread justice throughout the land after it was filled with injustice by America, the Zionist enterprise, the Batiniyya, reactionism, Paganism and the Crusaders.' i.e. everyone who does not follow his brand of Sunni Islam.

You said 'I look forward to giving you tea on the terrace because you deserve it!', even though the Islamic Movement [the northern branch of which Salah heads] has eulogised Osama bin Laden and Salah has incited Muslims against Jews by writing incendiary lies such as this: 'The unique mover wanted to carry out the bombings in Washington and New York in order to provide the Israeli establishment with a way out of its entanglements.' Who do you think he meant by 'the unique mover'?

Why is that kind of conspiratorial antisemitism, dripping with threat and menace, worthy of tea on the terrace?

And it isn't just a problem with Salah, is it? You said it was 'my pleasure and my honour' to host 'our friends from Hezbollah and our friends from Hamas' in the Commons.

Really?

Why do you not care that the Hamas Charter states that 'Islam will obliterate Israel' and enjoins all good Muslims to kill Jews, whom it blames for all the wars and revolutions in classic antisemitic fashion?

Why don't you challenge your 'friends in Hamas' about the inclusion in their Charter of this canonical Hadith: 'The Day of Judgment will not come about until Muslims fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Muslims, O Abdullah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him.'

And why are Hezbollah your friends? They are an antisemitic Islamist goose-stepping 'Party of God' who persecute (and assassinate) liberals and democrats in Lebanon whenever they can. The Hezbollah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah said 'If Jews all gather in Israel, it will save us the trouble of going after them worldwide.' (NY Times, May 23, 2004, p. 15, section 2, column 1.)  Your 'friends' were enthusiastically slaughtering Syrian civilians on behalf of the Assad regime long before ISIS or Jabhat Al-Nusra joined the fray.'

Plenty there that interviewers from the British media could raise with Jeremy Corbyn but you won't hear a squeak from the institutionally anti Israel BBC.

The two hundred and sixth weekly "No Shit, Sherlock award" - Khamenei: Nuclear deal won't change our regional alliances

'The nuclear agreement with major powers will not change Iran's policy against the "arrogant American government" nor will it change the Islamic Republic's policy of supporting its "friends" in the region, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said Saturday.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran will not give up support of its friends in the region — the oppressed people of Palestine, of Yemen, the Syrian and Iraqi governments, the oppressed people of Bahrain and sincere resistance fighters in Lebanon and Palestine… Our policy will not change with regards to the arrogant US government," said Khamenei.

His remarks were greeted by chants of "Death to America" and "Death to Israel" at a ceremony in Tehran marking the end of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan, which was broadcast live on state television. '
Iran will continue to support Islamist terrorists and forment hate of the only majority Jewish state, no Shit Sherlock.

Partition of India: My memories - BBC News

Tucked away on the BBC is this http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-28789262 article about the partition of India into India and Pakistan.
' Partition of India: My memories

In 1947, when India split from Pakistan, millions of people were forced to leave their homes because of inter-religious violence.

Muslims trekked to Pakistan and Hindus travelled to India.'

Nobody at the BBC seems to see the parallels between what happened in India and Pakistan in 1947 and what should have happened in Israel in 1948. In 1922 Jordan was created as yet another home for Arabs and on 70% of the land previously promised to Israel. So if at almost the same time as in India, rather than try and create yet another Arab country, the international community had moved those Muslim Arabs, who didn't want to live in a predominantly Jewish state, to the state that had been setup for them 25 years previously, how much future bloodshed would have been avoided?

In India and Pakistan millions of people moved many hundreds of miles, yet no refugee camps existed by the late 1950s. Yet because Muslim Arab nations use the Palestinians as a weapon against the existence of a majority Jewish state on 'Muslim land', Palestinians still live to this day in refugee camps in Jordan and The Lebanon.

By way of contrast, the 858,000 Jews who had to flee Muslim countries across the Middle East and North Africa 1948-1950  were integrated into Israeli society very quickly. There were more Jewish refugees than Palestinian but the Jewish ones became Israeli citizens whilst the Palestinians were refused citizenship of Jordan the country created for them 25 years previously.

It's strange how the BBC never report this history, I suppose it doesn't fit their anti Israel narrative.

Hamas Spokesman: We Deported Foreign Journalists for Filming Missile Launches

'Hamas spokeswoman Isra Al-Mudallal, head of foreign relations in the Hamas Information Ministry, on Thursday told Lebanon's satellite broadcaster Mayadeen TV that journalists who filmed missile launch sites were given a chance to change their stories, or deported from Gaza.'

But not on the institutionally anti Israel BBC where the truth is less important than vilifying Israel and protecting Islamist terrorists.

The truth about the Nakba

The Palestinian population is no more than a human shield for cynical money and power-seekers. There never was an established Palestinian Arab society in Palestine. The majority of the Arabs living in Palestine in May of 1948 were Syrians, Egyptians, Iraqis and North Africans who arrived there in response to Jewish investment in rehabilitating their own ancient homeland, beginning in 1882. The movement accelerated in response the Mufti-induced riots and murders of Jews in the 1920's and the artificial blockage of Jewish immigration in the 1930's.
In 1948 the Jews owned 6% of the land in Palestine. Less well known is that Arabs owned only 3%, again while they enjoyed unimited immigration and the Jews were blocked by British military.

A new unprecedented false definition of 'refugee' was invented for these people alone, of residence of 2 years in Palestine. In this way a Syrian or Egyptian or Bedouin could roll off the vegetable truck from Egypt and immediately begin shouting and rioting 'Jews out of Palestine'.

Also unprecedented is the definition of children of these phony refugess as refugees as well, for the purpose of maintenance by a special UN agency also invented just for them. It was an attempt to create a new kind of nation resembling the Jewish nation in exile, in which children of Jews actually are citzens of the Jewish nation. Why couldn't those people be absorbed back into their own ancestral homelands or Syria or Morocco? Because they were pawns of power seekers looking to get a state for free, that's why. There need not be even one Palestinian Arab refugee anynore.

The story of Palestine is the story of efforts to impede the establishment of a Jewish homeland of any kind in Palestine. After the Balfour Declaration, the enemies of the Jews regrouped and did everything to prevent its implementaton. After Eastern Palestine (80%) was emptied of Jews and given the homeless King Abdullah, and Northern Palestine was was emptied of Jews and given to the French Mandate of Syria and ultmately becoming Lebanon, and Western Palestine (Gaza) was emptied of Jews and given to Egypt, a tiny little area was again to be divided with Arabs getting the mountains and valleys and ports and water, and the Jews getng the beach and the desert.
One reason for this was that Britain controlled the Iraqi oil and wanted to build and control a pipeline from Iraq to the port of Haifa. They assumed that it would be easier to install an Arab puppet regme in Palestine than to deal with those pesky, stubborn and independant Jews.

The Arabs refused to allow the Jews to have even that scrap of land.

The Arab High Command told the Arabs to leave so as to facilitate their victory in 1948. You can also add that later all Arab states and Persia got rid of all their Jews and they got absorbed in Israel with little delay. 66 years later Arab states still leave "their brothers" in refugee camps instead of having absorbed them and their support is from western sources, not Arabs. Where is the legendary Arab hospitality?

Israeli Arab can parade with their "Nakba day" and live to see the next day. Can any Arab in any Arab state do the same and live? Israeli Arabs have rights that most Arabs can't even dream of having.

On June 8, 1951, Habib Issa, secretary-general of the Arab League, wrote in the New York Lebanese daily al-Hoda that in 1948, Azzam Pasha, then League secretary, had "assured the Arab peoples that the occupation of Palestine and of Tel Aviv would be as simple as a military promenade ... Brotherly advice was given to the Arabs of Palestine to leave their land, homes and property, and to stay temporarily in neighbouring fraternal states

On April 9, 1953, the Jordanian daily al-Urdun quoted a refugee, Yunes Ahmed Assad, formerly of Deir Yassin, as saying: "For the flight and fall of the other villages, it is our leaders who are responsible, because of the dissemination of rumours exaggerating Jewish crimes and describing them as atrocities in order to inflame the Arabs ... they instilled fear and terror into the hearts of the Arabs of Palestine until they fled, leaving their homes and property to the enemy."

Another refugee told the Jordanian daily a-Difaa on September 6, 1954: "The Arab governments told us, 'Get out so that we can get in.' So we got out, but they did not get in."

The Jordanian daily Falastin wrote on February 19, 1949: "The Arab states... encouraged the Palestinian Arabs to leave their homes temporarily in order to be out of the way of the Arab invasion armies."
The facts of the 'Nakba' are clear but unfortunately the 'Palestinian' narrative has become the accepted one. Thus anti Semites and idiots have fuel for their hatred of Jews and Israel.

Palestinians killed in a refugee camp but as Israel can't be blamed I doubt the BBC will report it

The eight Palestinians were killed in a Palestinian 'refugee camp' in Southern Lebanon so that won't be of any interest to the BBC.

Freedom in the Middle East and North Africa

Freedom House has just published its 2014 report and here's the freedom figures for the Middle East and North Africa from that report, first for 2010 - 2014 and then just for 2014

In case you are wondering, the Palestinians are not forgotten, the Gaza Strip and 'West Bank' appear under a list of territories, here's their 2014 ranking for comparison...

In the above tables, "PR" stands for "Political Rights," "CL" stands for "Civil Liberties," and "Status" is the Freedom Status.
Political Rights and Civil Liberties are measured on a one-to-seven scale, with one representing the highest degree of Freedom and seven the lowest.
“F,” “PF,” and “NF,” respectively, stand for “Free,” “Partly Free,” and “Not Free.”

The lower the number the freer the country. Can you spot the only country that is FREE? That would be Israel. Of the Muslim majority countries that surround and mostly hate Israel, only five are even classified as Partially Free - Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia. The rest are classified as Not Free.

How peculiar that so many people spend so much time and energy denigrating the name and record of Israel and calling it an apartheid state, when it is by far the freeest country to live in the area in which it is situated.
