Jez Protests Against Himself per Guido Fawkes

Guido Fawkes reports http://order-order.com/2016/09/26/jez-protests-against-himself/ that the accompanying picture shows:

'Jeremy Corbyn protesting against the abolition of the Shadow Cabinet minister for mental health, abolished by him. The picture of conference so far…'
A fair and unbiased BBC would have fun with this, but the BBC is neither fair nor impartial.

Fracking scare stories condemned by watchdog per The Times but unlikely to be reported by the BBC

'A green campaign group made a series of misleading claims about the health and environmental impacts of fracking, according to a damning draft ruling by the advertising watchdog.

Friends of the Earth (FoE) failed to substantiate claims that fracking could cause cancer, contaminate water supplies, increase asthma rates and send house prices plummeting, the Advertising Standards Authority says.'

Oddly I can't find where the BBC are reporting this ruling, maybe because they don't plan on doing so or even just correcting anyone who makes similar unsubstantiated claims in the future.

Mocking Republican candidates...

It's odd how mocking someone for a disability or for being different is unacceptable at the BBC or the left of politics, unless the person being mocked is on the right of politics of course.
Donald Trump has oddly, funnily, stupidly, small hands - so comedians inform me.

Back in 2008 John McCain was being mocked for his war injury

Heaven forbid anyone on the right of politics says anything derogatory about Hillary Clinton though...

Coronation Street actor Marc Anwar sacked over 'racist tweets' per BBC News

This BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-37466235 is fascinating for its omission of what racist tweets were sent.

Montgomery: "When a person dies and is buried, it seems there are certain voodoo priests who, who have the power to bring him back to life."

Carter: "How horrible!"

Montgomery: "It's worse than horrible because a zombie has no will of his own. You see them sometimes walking around blindly with dead eyes, following orders, not knowing what they do, not caring."

Lawrence: "You mean like Democrats?"

FBI Dump Reveals Obama's Pseudonym Use, Private Email Traffic with Hillary's Private Email per Breitbart

News you won't know about if you rely on the BBC for your news.

'The Federal Bureau of Investigation revealed Friday that President Barack Obama used a private email address and pseudonym to communicate with Democratic presidential nominee Hillary R. Clinton and her own private email account as early as June 2012.

Posted at the FBI's Vault site, the revelation was part of a 189-page document dump of interview notes from conversations its agents conducted about how Clinton handled classified electronic correspondence, other documents, and her private email scheme during her tenure as secretary of State.
...
In addition to the news that the president, like many other members of his administration, used a fake name and his own private email account, it also means that Obama's public statements about Clinton's email arrangement were contrary to his own working knowledge and experience.'

BBC journalists paid up to 40 per cent more than commercial rivals

'BBC journalists are paid up to forty per cent more than their competitors in the commercial sector, according to a leaked review of salaries in the corporation's news division.

Years of union-backed pay rises, as well as top-up allowances unheard of among commercial rivals, have pushed BBC journalists' salaries far in excess of staff at organisations such as Sky News and ITN, according to a pay review leaked to the Daily Telegraph.

The report, carried out for the BBC by financial consultants PwC, warns that rank-and-file staff in the BBC's 7,000-strong news division enjoy salaries that are "higher than the market median".'

State of emergency for Charlotte as unrest over police shooting continues per BBC News who don't report an inconvenient fact

This BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-37436676 on the rioting in Charlotte which has followed the shooting of an African American misses one key piece of information that the Black Lives Matter and their supporters at the BBC might find inconvenient to their claims of racism in the police force and elsewhere in the USA.

It is reported by Breitbart and others that the policeman who shot Keith Lamont Scott was also an African American, Brentley Vinson. Why would the BBC not report that?

Muslim Migrant On Trial For Killing Praying Christians Migrants, so no interest from the BBC

Imagine the furore and headlines on the BBC if a Christian refugee in Spain had gone on trial, accused of murdering with a "religious motivation" six Muslim refugees, including an iman, on a voyage across the Mediterranean from Africa to Europe.

The Cameroonian captain of the boat is thought to have beaten the Muslims with a wooden plank before forcing them overbored, condemning them to certain death, because they were saying Islamic prayers.'

There would be headlines, in depth reports; one of the BBC's weeping 'journalists' would provide a tearful report on Newsnight, questions would be asked of ministers on the Today programme, sundry luvvies would emote like crazy.

However this story was about Christian refugees being killed by Muslim refugees so there will be no BBC coverage at all.

The actual report starts thus:

'A Muslim migrant in Spain has gone on trial, accused of murdering with a "religious motivation" six Christian refugees, including a pastor, on a voyage across the Mediterranean from Africa to Europe.
The Cameroonian captain of the boat is thought to have beaten the Christians with a wooden plank before forcing them overbored, condemning them to certain death, because they were saying catholic prayers.'

Barack Obama and BBC News

'President Barack Obama, speaking in New York, said officials did not believe there was a connection between events in New York and New Jersey and a stabbing attack in Minnesota, also on Saturday, in which nine people were injured.'
What on earth could connect an Afghan who became an American and an ethnic Somali?

Sunday, 18 September 2016

Why so shy BBC News?

This BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-37399862 is staggering for the last line of this extract from it:

'At least eight people were wounded in a stabbing attack at a shopping mall in the US state of Minnesota, before the suspected attacker was shot dead by police, officials say.

The attack happened in St Cloud, 70 miles (110km) north-west of Minneapolis. The motive is unclear.

The suspected attacker reportedly made references to Allah before he was killed.'

Made references to Allah? Derogatory references? Or did he scream "Allahu Akbar" as have so many Islamist stabbers, hackers and cutters before him? Why so shy BBC?

Disarming Hillary Clinton's bodyguards

I was going to post a piece pointing out the blatant bias and misrepresentation in the BBC's report on Donald Trump's comments about Hillary Clinton's bodyguards entitled 'US election: Clinton security should be disarmed, says Trump.' however the wonderful Craig at Isthebbcbiased.blogspot.co.uk has done a great job already, read it here http://isthebbcbiased.blogspot.co.uk/2016/09/seriously-bbc.html

WWE wrestlers 'more recognisable' than England captain Alastair Cook

'WWE wrestlers are more recognisable than England Test captain Alastair Cook, according to new research.

Derbyshire chairman Chris Grant said the findings came from market research conducted by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) into the game's popularity.

"More kids these days can recognise a WWE wrestler than the England captain," Grant told BBC Radio Derby."

Only a third could recognise Alastair and I think we've got to improve that."'

The answer is not city based 20 20 cricket, the answer is putting cricket back on terrestrial television.

Some good old fashioned Jew hatred not being reported by the BBC

'Israeli fans who traveled to Italy to watch soccer team Hapoel Beersheba play in the UEFA cup against Italian powerhouse Inter Milan were blocked from entering the stadium by a pro-Palestinian protest on Thursday.

One of the Israeli fans, Tal Lavi, a media manager for The Jerusalem Post, said that local police and stadium security for San Siro Stadium told Israeli soccer fans that they would not be allowed to enter the premises due to security concerns.

Video taken by Lavi shows protestors near the stadium waving Palestinian flags and shouting chants in opposition to the soccer match.

Lavi said that an estimated 1,200 fans of Hapoel Beersheba were restricted to an enclosure far from the stadium by stadium security and local authorities.

According to the Jerusalem Post employee, further police assistance was requested in order to address the matter.

The incident follows shortly after another episode involving an Israeli-Italian soccer event earlier this month.

On September 8, the Israel Football Association complained to the Italian Football Federation after two Italian fans were thrown out of the 2018 World Cup qualifier between the national teams in Haifa for giving the Nazi salute during the Italian national anthem.

Police chose only to remove the fans and did not arrest them. Italy supporters were also recorded booing during the Israeli national anthem 'Hatikva', with several seen taunting religious Jewish fans and spitting at them.'

More at Jpost but obviously not at the institutionally anti Israel BBC. The BBC's unrelentingly anti Israel propaganda has helped bring about a situation where hatred of Jews because of Israel is deemed understandable and even acceptable in pc society.

Eid Mubarak - unless your an animal whose throat is cut and you bleed to death

'The streets of Dhaka in Bangladesh have been turned into literal rivers of blood and 79 sheep lay brutally butchered in Austria as Muslims celebrate Eid al-Adha by mass slaughtering animals.
The Islamic holiday of Eid al-Adha currently dominates the calendars of Muslims worldwide and a large feature of the festival is the ritual halal slaughter of animals.

Rain and floods meant that the official government designated "kill zones" were unable to be used by the public to carry out the slaughter, which involves the slitting of the throat of an animal, usually a goat, sheep, or cow, and letting it bleed to death.'
More here at Breitbart http://www.breitbart.com/london/2016/09/15/muslims-brutally-mass-slaughter-animals-eid-al-adha-festival/ but not in the BBC and most of the rest of the mainstream media where protecting Islam from criticism is more important than animal welfare.

Heatwave adds to pressure on UK power networks per BBC News

Colin Powell calls Trump 'national disgrace' in email leak per BBC News

This BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-us-2016-37364189 reports barely half the news. It concentrates on one remark that is negative about Donald Trump but ignores the worse of the negative comments that Colin Powell made about Hillary Clinton.

It's almost as though the BBC wasn't an independent news reporting organisation but was instead campaigning for the Democrats in the US.

Hillary Clinton told to keep talking... August 4, 2016

Very odd... What is behind this story?

FBI Official Admits to Congress: The Clinton Case Was 'Different in a Lot of Ways' per Breitbart

'... This case was different. But here's the problem, Mr. Herring. It's not supposed to be. It's not supposed to be different. Everyone is supposed to be treated equally under the law. And I know deep down you know that. Your 17 years serving in our government – you know that, don't you?

Everyone's supposed to be treated the same. And in this case, this individual was treated different. And everyone in this country knows it. And that's why we're having this hearing…'

Hillary Clinton's Doctor Claims She Has Pneumonia...

If the story is now pneumonia then Zero Hedge has some questions http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-09-11/hillarys-doctor-releases-statement

'1. Hillary made her infamous "basket of deplorables" comments at a Barbra Streisand fundraiser on Friday night - the same night she was supposedly diagnosed with pneumonia: why go to a fundraiser if sick, especially since pneumonia is contagious.

2. Hillary has had a nasty, documented cough since January - why did it take 9 months to diagnose this?

3. If Hillary has pneumonia, and passed out at an event, - why was she taken to her daughter's apartment and not a hospital? After all, she was as of today aware of her Friday diagnosis.

4. After coming out of Chelsea's apartment, why did Hillary says she "felt great" - as of this morning she was aware she had Pneumonia; why not admit the truth for once to the public?

5. After coming out of Chelsea's apartment a young girl ran up to Hillary for a quick picture - again, knowing she had been diagnosed with pneumonia why would Hillary expose this young girl to her illness?'

Good questions, the type that an unbiased news organisation would ask, hence you won't catch the BBC asking any of them.

Hillary Clinton diagnosed with pneumonia per BBC News

Anyone who's read Breitbart and some other American political websites over the last month or so would have seen video of Hillary Clinton's coughing fits and weird ticks. The BBC have minimised coverage of these episodes as much as possible so the 9/11 memorial event must have come as a total surprise to the vast majority of the British public.

The BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-us-2016-37332106 glides over the top of the story, faithfully reporting the Hillary Clinton camp's line and reassuring everyone about their candidate's health whilst muddying the waters just a little about Donald Trump's.

This one episode is probably containable but now that the genie has been allowed to see the exit from the bottle, one more episode could be too tricky to hide even for the combined forces of the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democrat Party supporting US and UK media.

Islamic Scholar: Europe May Be Heading Toward Civil War

'The long-term goal of the Jihad Generation is to destroy Europe through civil war and then build an Islamic society from the ashes, Prof. Kepel said. The strategy is similar to the expansion of Islamic State in Syria, Iraq, and Libya where the terrorist organisation was able to use the chaos of civil war to slowly build its forces, grow in power, and rapidly seize territory.

While Prof. Kepel says that most Muslims do not actively participate in terrorism or with terrorist groups, he says that the growth of Salafism among young people, combined with a sense of entitlement and lack of job prospects, means that third-generation Muslims will be far more likely to join radical groups.'

Afghan refugees in Pakistan forced to leave the country in response to get-tough measures

The LA Times reports:

'Pakistan has announced that the 1.5 million registered Afghan refugees in the country must leave by Dec. 31 as part of get-tough measures to combat terrorism, fueling fresh fear and uncertainty among families who have spent almost their entire lives in their adopted country.

An estimated 1 million other Afghan refugees are in Pakistan without papers and facing expulsion. Provincial police say that 8,000 Afghans in the country illegally have been arrested in the last three months.

In practice, Afghans cannot gain citizenship in Pakistan; they are only given Proof of Registration cards. Pakistan says those cards will expire at the end of the year.'
Something that you won't hear be reported by the institutionally pro-Pakistan and Islam BBC.

BBC Double Standards

Beeb Bias Craig was one of my favourite sites and isthebbcbiased.blogspot.co.uk is a fine followup.
This article http://isthebbcbiased.blogspot.com.es/2016/08/double-standards.html is almost precisely what I wanted to write, so I'll link to it instead!

'The example of the BBC's swift (and heavy) reporting of the 'Britain First!' cry reporting in the murder of Jo Cox, in contrast to their widely-noted reluctance to quote cries of 'Allahu Akbar' in several recent murders (including mass murders) of the continent, shows a ongoing and alarming double standard in the BBC's reporting.'
Well said Craig.

Baby names: Noah enters top 10 for boys, Amelia remains top for girls per BBC News

This BBC report http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-37254187 starts thus:
'The name Noah has entered the top 10 most popular boys' names for the first time, while Amelia has remained the most popular for girls, the Office for National Statistics said.

The list of most popular baby names in England and Wales in 2015 also showed Oliver has remained top for boys.

The ONS said the results were "based on the exact spelling of the name given on the birth certificate".Grouping similarly-pronounced names would change the rankings, it added.'
Can you guess what grouping of names would take the top spot but that the BBC would rather keep quiet? Might it be Muhammad/Mohammed etc.?

Harry's Place » Jeremy Corbyn and Khomeinist Iran

As an antidote to the BBC's running interference for Jeremy Corbyn, including minimising the importance of his appearances on Iranian Press TV, read this article at the wonderful Harry's Place http://hurryupharry.org/2016/09/01/jeremy-corbyn-and-khomeinist-iran/

'Mr Corbyn is so deluded that he probably believes, quite sincerely, that engaging in apologetics for a brutal Khomeinist regime is a good way to stand up for human rights.

Most of us will instead see his behaviour for what it is – a travesty and a betrayal of the oppressed.'
Read the whole piece, it's well researched and right on the money re the allegiances of Jeremy Corbyn. It's also something you won't ever learn about from the vile BBC.

North Korea Executes Official for 'Slouching' in Meeting with Kim - not considered newsworthy by the institutionally anti Israel BBC

Breitbart report http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2016/09/01/north-korea-executes-top-education-official-slouching/ that the North Korean regime have executed an official for slouching in a meeting with that country's dictator.

'North Korea has announced its Vice Premier for Education, Kim Yong-Jin, was executed by firing squad last month. His crime, according to South Korea's Unification Ministry, was "slouching during a meeting of parliament in late June presided over by Kim Jong Un."'
Not reported, certainly not on the news front page, by the institutionally anti Israel BBC who did headline the news that Israel was building some homes for Israelis.

What is it about the world's only majority Jewish state that so angers the institutionally anti Israel BBC?

Islamic State Uses Chainsaw to Hack Nine Iraqi Teens in Half - not considered newsworthy by the institutionally anti Israel BBC

Breitbart report http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2016/09/01/islamic-state-uses-chainsaw-hack-9-iraqi-teens-half/ some more vile atrocities carried out by the Islamists of ISIS.

'Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL) jihadists reportedly tied nine young men to iron poles in Mosul before hacking them in half with a chainsaw.'

The institutionally anti Israel BBC don't consider this worthy of headlining on their news front page. Apparently Islamists hacking nine young men to death with a chainsaw isn't newsworthy whilst Israel building homes is.

The institutionally anti Israel BBC disgust me. What is it about the world's only majority Jewish state that they so hate?

The London We've Lost

This Breitbart London article http://www.breitbart.com/milo/2016/08/31/london-is-gone/ by Milo Y is a must read.

'If you are scared of being called a racist for speaking out against Islam, think about what people will call you in a generation if you don't take a stand now.

As we look across the English Channel to the terror attacks in Europe, the question is not "Will it continue?" or "Could it happen here?" The questions are: "How often will it happen, and what will we do about it?"'
Milo is leaving London for the last time. Others have already left, I'm thinking of doing the same. Oddly I don't want to die at the hands of someone that the BBC and police will describe as mentally disturbed but who I will hear scream triumphantly "Allahu Akbar" as he fires his gun, explodes his bomb or drives his car into a crowd.

Israel 'approves 464 settlement homes in West Bank' -per BBC News

This BBC report http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-37235922 is interesting as it has sat on the BBC news front page since yesterday. People are dying in Syria, Yemen, Iraq and elsewhere. In North Korea millions live in fear of their own government, senior politicians are executed by being shot by anti aircraft guns, so being shredded to death. There's a low scale war between Russia and the Ukraine. China is expanding its presence in South East Asia etc etc etc.

Yet the BBC prefer to headline that the world's only majority Jewish state is daring to build some houses. That the BBC is institutionally anti Israel has been clear for years, presumably that was the conclusion of the Balen Report and so why the BBC have been so desperate to keep that report secret.
The BBC's obsession with denigrating Israel does seem borderline anti Semitic.

Nick Booth: Will the BBC automate its anti-Brexit propaganda machine? Per The Conservative Woman

'The focus of union anger is a new machine, dubbed the AbrexipanSta, which it's claimed can automatically carry out the work of up to 100 BBC journalists. The AbrexipanSta (automated brexit panic station) can sift through dozens of daily events and instantly create a worrisome narrative that will furrow brows at a 100 metres. In the wake of the referendum, when a majority of voters defied the wishes of the BBC, mandarins have demanded that the Ruling News Service steps up its production of 'black cloud' stories. However, the understaffed BBC is being forced to find new ways to ramp up production through automation.'

Facebook overhauls Trending feature after bias claims per BBC News

This BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-37205029 is fascinating for the lack of investigation they have performed or detail reported.

'Social media giant Facebook has overhauled the Trending feature on its site to make posts more automated after claims of left-wing bias.'

If there had been claims of right wing bias then the BBC would have investigated the claims, listed some examples and have been outraged. But as it's bias towards the left, towards the BBC's politics, then the BBC are not bothered.

Virgin challenges Jeremy Corbyn train footage per BBC News

The BBC reluctantly report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-37167700 that their blessed Jeremy Corbyn might have told a porkie.

'Virgin Trains has questioned footage showing Jeremy Corbyn sitting on the floor of a "ram-packed" service.

In a film shown on The Guardian, the Labour leader said he was experiencing a problem "many passengers face every day" on the London to Newcastle train.

But Virgin said CCTV showed Mr Corbyn and his team walking past available seating before starting filming. It says the crew helped him to a carriage where seats were available and he sat for the rest of his journey.'

I wonder if the BBC's friends at The Guardian will report Virgin's remarks?

Boy, 8, killed in grenade attack on apartment in Sweden per BBC News

This BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-37161752 ends rather interestingly:
'Sweden generally has low crime rates but police have had difficulty addressing violence in poorer neighbourhoods in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmo.

Odd how I don't recall any previous BBC reports mentioning these car burnings in Sweden. I wonder if the perpetrators are in any way linked to those who burn cars in some French cities.

Jewish man stabbed on street in French city of Strasbourg per BBC News

Read this BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-37132582 about a Rabbi being stabbed in Strasbourg.
It would seem that for the BBC and the European authorities if a Muslim shouting Allahu Akbar attacks a Jewish man (possibly a rabbi) who was wearing 'distinctive Jewish dress' 'no anti-Semitic motive had yet been established'.
The rise in antisemitism in Europe has been fuelled by both the media's hatred of, and propaganda against, Israel and the rise of Muslim immigration.

That line refers not to stopping unchecked immigration or to being soft on Islamist terrorists and the supporters of Islamist terrorism, but rather to the continuance of European traditions. Welcome to Europe's dhimmified future.

The Islamic State's Dehumanisation Of Christians Is Nothing New

This Breitbart article contains a reminder that should scare every kufr in Britain and Europe:
'Unfortunately for Christians in Europe, the murder of a priest celebrating mass in France is just the peak of swelling anti-Western, and anti-Christian sentiment on the continent.

Just yesterday major Belgian Dutch-language newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws reported that police are seeking a young boy after he was filmed walking down the main street of Waloonian city Verviers calling for Christians to be killed. In between prayers the young boy cries out: "Oh Allah, destroy the terrible Christians. Oh Allah, kill them all. Do not let a single one survive."

...

These highly radicalised youngsters fit a growing pattern in Europe, where young Muslims are consistently more radical than their parents, even among second and third generation migrants who might otherwise be supposed to have enjoyed the benefits of Western life and integration.

Writing earlier this year, Breitbart London's Editor in Chief cited numerous studies which found the young generation of Muslims in Britain and Europe to have a high rate of acceptance of terror methods, endorsing or excusing attacks including the 7/7 bombings and the Charlie Hebdo attack.

Among young British Muslims polled, 78 per cent expressed support for punishment for those who published cartoons of Muhammed, and 68 per cent said people who "insult Islam" should be arrested.'

Scared? I am.

Belgian police hunting teenager who pledged to 'kill all Christians' in online video

The Telegraph reports yet another Islamist terrorist story:
'Belgian police have launched a manhunt for a teenager after footage emerged of him calling for "the murder of all Christians".

The video shows the 15-year-old, who has not been named, in Verviers and, in Arabic, declaring, "Oh Allah, destroy the odious Christians. Oh Allah kill them all."

The boy is filmed on a French website saying, "Don't spare any of them."

The film was shot in Verviers, the scene of a successful anti-terrorism operation last year.

Police said the boy has been identified and is on a list of radicalised persons, but did not disclose his name. A source said the teenager, the son of a local radical imam, posed a potentially "serious threat" to the public and they wanted to trace him "as soon as possible."'
Well isn't that just dandy? Welcome to the future of Europe thanks to the idiocy of too many European politicians. Is Lebanon really the best model for a future Europe?

FTSE 100 closes at 14-month high

The BBC report through gritted teeth that:
'FTSE 100 closes at 14-month high'
Not reported with the banner headlines that the FTSE's post Brexit vote falls were accorded. But that's the beauty of the BBC's bias, always pushing the narrative.

Global warming?

'Climbers have encountered deep snow on Britain's highest mountain while assisting in a scientific project on the peak.

It is not unusual for Ben Nevis to have coverings of snow all year.

However, snow expert Iain Cameron has described the depth of the white stuff on the mountain's North Face as "astonishing".'
Inconvenient?

Fired for helping a Jew

'A Palestinian man who saved the children of a West Bank rabbi after a deadly terror attack that killed him has been fired from his job, according to the head of Har Hevron Regional Council.'

BBC Sport obsessed

This BBC sport roundup of yesterday's Olympics news http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/olympics/37016458 includes a real 'so what' section.
'In the fencing competition, Ibtihaj Muhammad became the only American ever to compete in the Olympics wearing a hijab. She won her first contest in the women's sabre tournament before bowing out.'
A)  So what?

B)  She wore a hijab in the only Olympic event where the whole body including the head and face is completely covered during the competition

C)  Do the BBC not realise how their obsession with promoting Islam is to the rest of us?

No-one wants to be on ‘Strictly’ with Ed Balls

'THE BBC is struggling to find contestants for the new series of Strictly Come Dancing because Ed Balls is in it.

The corporation admitted it may be forced to use people who have the same names as celebrities and who can also stand to be in the same room as the bum-faced former Labour MP.

Huw Edwards, the BBC newsreader and inevitable Strictly contestant, said: "I'll wait for the next series. I don't even want to pretend to like Ed Balls."

Tennis hero Tim Henman revealed he turned down the offer, adding: "It seems like a rather pathetic attempt by Ed Balls to reinvent himself and I cannot be involved in that in any way."

Actress Penelope Keith, who also turned down the BBC, said: "It would be really awkward when Ed Balls finishes his routine and he and his partner join all the other contestants, but none of them are applauding him.

"It would just be a bunch of people glaring at him as if to say, 'Why are you ruining this for everyone? Why don't you just sod off?'"'
Thanks to The Daily Mash http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/news/arts-entertainment/no-one-wants-to-be-on-strictly-with-ed-balls-20160808111995 for that. The BBC's assistance in the rehabilitation of one of the nastiest members of the Labour Party in its pre Corbyn days doesn't surprise me but does revolt me.

France today, London when?

'France's politicians and community leaders have criticised the "intolerable" violence against Paris' Jewish community, after a pro-Palestinian rally led to the vandalizing and looting of Jewish businesses and the burning of cars.

It is the third time in a week where pro-Palestinian activists have clashed with the city's Jewish residents. On Sunday, locals reported chats of "Gas the Jews" and "Kill the Jews", as rioters attacked businesses in the Sarcelles district, known as "little Jerusalem".

Manuel Valls, France's prime minister said: "What happened in Sarcelles is intolerable. An attack on a synagogue and on a kosher shop is simply anti-Semitism. Nothing in France can justify this violence."'

Labour has 0 per cent chance of forming majority government at next election, says electoral report per The Independent

'The statistical probably of Labour forming a majority government at the next election - to the nearest percentage point - is zero, while the most likely outcome on current showing is that the Conservatives will come back with an outright majority of 90, according to a new report.

The analysis by Electoral Calculus, based on statistics and opinion polls, offers a wildly different conclusion to the gut instincts of some of the people who bet on politics, who believe Jeremy Corbyn in with a chance of victory.

The Boundary Commission is currently examining how to reduce the number of MPs from its present level of 650 to 600 in time for the 2020 general election – though if Theresa May were to go for a snap election it would be fought on the current boundaries, which is one reason that she is likely to let the current Parliament run its full five year term.'

2 Belgian Police Attacked by 'Allah Hu Akbar' Knife man per Breitbart

'Two policemen have reportedly been attacked by a man with a machete shouting 'Allah hu Akhbar' outside a police station in Belgium.'
Nothing on the BBC yet, they're presumably debating how to spin this as nothing to do with Islam.

Life term for IS-inspired Tube attacker Muhiddin Mire per BBC News

The headline says 'life' but read on in this BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-36942245 and you discover that:
'Mire will begin his sentence at Broadmoor secure hospital, where he will serve a minimum of eight-and-a-half-years before he is considered for parole.'
Eight and a half years is not really a life sentence is it?

What do Remainers Feel Now? The BBC ask.

The Briefing Room - What Do Remainers Feel Now? - @bbcradio4 http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b07lhh7f
If Remain had won the EU Referendum, even by just 1%, would the BBC have run a similar piece about the feelings of the Brexit supporters?
I think we know the answer to that, Brexit supporters would have been expected to shut up, suck it up and accept the democratic verdict of the country.

The BBC are suggesting that the closure of Lloyds Bank branches is due to Brexit. Lloyds Bank say not true but why should the BBC let facts ruin their narrative

Lloyds Bank (@AskLloydsBank) tweeted at 7:43 AM on Thu, Jul 28, 2016:
@BulldogSteveUK Hi, I'm GR. The decision to close these branches was made before the Brexit vote and is not linked to the result.

How Angela Merkel’s open-door immigration policy protects Germany from terrorism in the long-run per The Independent

'Angela Merkel's open-door policy towards immigrants fleeing Middle East war zones will, in the long run, make Germany safer from terrorist attacks.

By showing compassion to hundreds of thousands of Muslim refugees, the German Chancellor has sent a message to the world that Germany is not at war with Islam.

More importantly, this means that the vast majority of Muslims resident in Germany have every reason to cooperate with the security services in the fight against terrorism.'
You'd be forgiven for thinking that this is a satirical article but it's from The Independent, a newspaper that makes The Guardian look rational, so I believe it is actually 'for real'.

Did a French court really give an Islamist who wanted to join ISIS in Syria a four hour window every day when he could do what he wanted?

'... it was revealed that one of the killers, 19-year-old Adel K., was being monitored by electronic tag after twice attempting to join fanatics in Syria.

His bail terms, however, allowed him to be unsupervised between 8.30am and 12.30pm. The attack happened between 9am and 11am'
More here in The Mail

If this is true then the French legal system is as ridiculous as ours. Questions need to be asked and terrorist suspects need to be treated as potentially dangerous 24 hours a day.

Why did that Catholic priest die?

The BBC seem confused as to why Islamist terrorists would cut a French Catholic priest's throat.

Maybe the BBC should read this post of mine from two weeks ago, here's the most pertinent part (I've emphasised the really key parts in case the BBC are even more blind to reality than I thought):
'The so-called Islamic State urged its followers to attack French people with vehicles well before the deadly attack in Nice.

A speech two years ago from the jihadists' spokesman, Abu Mohammed al Adnani, encouraged devotees to turn to more basic methods of terrorism if they could not obtain guns or explosives.

"If you are not able to find a bomb or a bullet, then smash his head with a rock, or slaughter him with a knife, or crush him with your car, or throw him down from a high place, or choke him, or poison him," he said.

In his remarks, Adnani singled out "the spiteful French" amid a long list of enemies topped by "the disbelieving American" and their allies.'
In recent weeks in Europe as well as bombs and bullets we've had people crushed by a truck and killed by a knife, that leaves smashing heads with rocks, throwing people from a high place and poison. Would you care to wager how long before Western Europeans experience these types of atrocities as well?

Europe has lost the war?

Israpundit has an interesting and depressing point of view:

'The Wall Street Journal just published a shocking article revealing what Patrick Calvar, France’s director general of intelligence, has in mind.

“The confrontation is inevitable,” said Mr. Calvar. There are an estimated 15,000 Salafists among France’s seven million Muslims, “whose radical-fundamentalist creed dominates many of the predominantly Muslim housing projects at the edges of cities such as Paris, Nice or Lyon. Their preachers call for a civil war, with all Muslims tasked to wipe out the miscreants down the street”.

Yes, France is heading toward the “inevitable confrontation”.

...

On the ashes of the World Trade Center, George W. Bush rose to the fight. In those years, the United States and its European allies proved themselves “the stronger horse” and the forces of the “weaker horse” of Al Qaeda began to lose heart. When Islamists were thrown on the defensive, recruits dropped off. Attacks on Western cities diminished.

After eight years of Barack Hussein Obama and Europe’s retreat from the war on terror, the West appears to be the weaker horse and the Islamists the stronger one.

A few days ago, I asked Professor Bruce Thornton of California State University what Europe should do to reverse this horrible trend. His answer was revealing:

“There is no political will for waging total war against ISIS. It would require 100,000 troops and massive bombing to eliminate as many jihadists as possible. We would have to abandon rules of engagement that privilege the enemy’s people over our own. At home, we would have to increase deportations and publicly demand that Muslim communities in the West disavow Jihadism and Sharia law”.

Of course, Europe and the West are not adopting any of these important and clearly articulated measures.

-Radical Islamists have already infiltrated Europe’s universities, mosques and cities’ outskirts.

-Institutional Islam has been able to convince Europeans that terror “has nothing to do with Islam”.

-Mainstream media is refusing even to spell the name of the enemy and it is just preparing new articles about the next victims of Jihad.

-Pope Francis is busy in preaching clemency to everybody.

-The remnant of European Jewry is fleeing the old continent.

-Europe’s armies are getting smaller by the day.

Abandon any hope: Without a major cultural revolution and shock, Europe is lost, Islamists will win! And as it goes along, we will cede more and more of our freedom and civilization to the Grand Jihad.'

I'd like to say that this was pessimistic and that there was an alternative but I am afraid to say that Israpundit is probably correct. Depressing prospect for Europe isn't it? have you planned your exit?

What do they have in common?

I know that I have posted this video before, several times in fact, but I think it shows the sort of conversation happening for real at the BBC and elsewhere across liberal to the point of stupidity Europe.

Workers’ cafe has untouched copy of Guardian

"If all the other papers are taken and there's only the Guardian left, I will just look at the tablecloth."
A very sensible approach to take if faced with having to read The Guardian

Islamist videos 'on Syrian bomber phone' per BBC News

The BBC are no doubt devastated to have to report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-36882831 that:
'Islamist videos were found on the mobiles and laptop of a Syrian man who blew himself up in Ansbach on Sunday evening, Bavarian officials say.

The 27-year-old caused an explosion which killed him and injured 15 people.

The Bavarian interior minister says two phones, multiple SIM cards and a laptop were found with the body or at his accommodation.

"Some Salafist content was found," Joachim Hermann said. Investigations are ongoing.'
So there's the Islamist terrorist link to this attempted atrocity. Now what will the BBC's new line be? Misunderstander of Islam?

German Government Admits They Have Lost 130,000 Migrants

With the frequency of attacks in Germany now making it hard to keep track, this report from  Breitbart is really concerning.
'German authorities do not know the whereabouts of 130,000 migrants, the government confessed today. It means that more than one in ten unvetted new arrivals from the Middle East have disappeared, somewhere in Europe.

Of the 1.1 million migrants who registered as asylum seekers in Germany in 2015, "about 13 per cent did not turn up at the reception centres to which they had been directed," the government said in a written reply to a question from a lawmaker from the Left Party.'
Need I really explain why?

How many of these individuals will carry out attacks like those that have happened in recent days in Nice and Germany?

The nasty vindictive left have a post Brexit plan - Project Pain

'A prospect far more threatening than Brexit is emerging: a reasonable deal for the UK. Reports from Brussels suggest a compromise is doing the rounds under which it would be given continued access to the single market plus concessions on freedom of movement. This would be a grave mistake. If Britain comes out of this looking anything less than severely diminished it will be devastating for the EU.

When the EU starts negotiating the terms of its divorce from the UK it must aim to inflict maximum political and economic damage. Financial powers should be repatriated from London and it must become nearly impossible for Asian, US or African multinationals to continue to have their EU headquarters in the UK. Universities, companies and cities must receive generous help to attract the best minds from their UK rivals, for instance by offering EU passports. There are many more blows the EU can deliver to make sure the UK faces a dark decade of economic stagnation and political isolation. Ideally, its economy should not get back to its pre-referendum size before, say, 2030.'
More here in The Guardian

The left: nasty, vindictive and without shame. So much for their purported fears for the British public over the effects of Brexit, they'd rather sacrifice people's wellbeing so the EU survives. I would draw parallels from history but I'll leave you to draw your own.
