Nick Robinson gets it but the BBC will not make the point public

Nick Robinson's blog has an interesting entry for Tuesday including this line "Be clear about another thing. Gordon Brown has just broken his own promise to make significant announcements in Parliament even though he is due to make a statement on Monday in the Commons. Together with the decision to bring his NHS review forward to this Thursday it is hard to escape the conclusion that everything is being done to prepare for an election announcement as early as next Tuesday."

As one of the comments on this blog says ""Be clear about another thing. Gordon Brown has just broken his own promise to make significant announcements in Parliament even though he is due to make a statement on Monday in the Commons."

So why is this not commented upon in the headline article on the BBC website?

Will it be highlighted in TV news articles?

Or is the BBC happy to aid and abet Gordon Brown in his cynical pre election manoeuvres?"

Take a look at the rest of the comments on that entry in Nick Robinson's blog, mostly very anti-BBC bias.

You can also see what Gordon Brown said at the Camp David press conference here.
