BBC bias over coverage of announcements

Do you remember the main political party conferences earlier this autumn, I reported at the time how the BBC were biased in their coverage of the leaders' speeches. I see that the BBC are still at it; this time reporting "Gordon Brown's priorities for his government will be set out later in his first Queen's Speech as prime minister." without reporting a single opposition politician's response.

It would appear that the default BBC position is as follows:

Labour announcement - report it straight with positive responses from Labour politicians
Conservative announcement - report the Labour response to the announcement as news and then the Conservative reaction to the Labour response
