"British jobs for every British worker"

So promised Gordon Brown on behalf of this Labour government in September but I have found an earlier party using this slogan, the British National Party. Back in May the BNP had an article on their website reporting that "A new leaflet sized poster is starting to “mysteriously” appear on works notice boards in a growing number of Somerset factories - particularly those increasingly employing migrant labour in preference to local people. The posters have the basic design as shown in the example below - but are “customised” by the addition of Party contact details and a strap line depending upon location - such as “British jobs for British workers at Bloggs Foods“. The posters are not popular with either the employers or the unions – who are ordering their removal! However they are popular with employees and are the subject of much workplace debate. Strangely enough they reappear on notice boards almost as fast as union reps and bosses rip them down and no-one seems to know anything about it!"

Have any of the main stream media picked up on this story? Of course not, but can you imagine how the BBC would have covered the story if it had been a Conservative politician who had promised "British jobs for British workers" let alone been found to have been using a BNP slogan?

Gordon has gone mad. British jobs for British workers is illegal and immoral.
