More Labour figure fiddling

The news that our deeply loved Labour government have been fiddling the school exclusion figures has received less attention than it deserves. The reason for this scant attention is that nobody is that surprised or shocked that this Labour government fiddles statistics, they have been doing it for years and they are utterly shameless about it.

In this case, the government have been claiming that school exclusions have fallen by 25% since they came to power. In fact the disruptive behaviour deemed worthy of justifying exclusion has increase significantly but this fact has been hidden by our delightfully ingenious Labour government deciding that the transfer of a violently disruptive pupil from one school to another does not constitute an exclusion.

Thus the Labour government can claim to have reduced exclusions and the only victims are the pupils at the school the disruptive pupil is moved to and they don't count for much in the eyes of this government.
