Here's £2.1 billion of savings that could be made

"Henry Featherstone, head of health and social care at Policy Exchange said: "Procurement practices in some parts of the NHS haven't moved on substantially in the last 60 years. By adopting best practices, as used by other healthcare organisations, the NHS could save up to £2.1 billion each year."


Not that Gordon Brown is interested in saving wasted public money, his only policies are to spend our money on ineffective bank bailouts and to do whatever it takes to keep Labour in power.
