Who should run the UK economy

ComRes's poll of business leaders for The Independent contains an interesting finding. When asked who they trusted to run the UK economy, these were the results:
Ken Clarke 65%
David Cameron 62%
Vince Cable 61%
George Osborne 39%
Lord Mandelson 31%
Nick Clegg 27%
Gordon Brown 16%
Alistair Darling 14%


Ken Clarke's record speaks for itself, it is interesting that Vince Cable rates so high and that even Peter Mandelson and Nick Clegg rate higher than Dumb and Dumber.
