Not a Sheep in agreement with the Saudi government!

It goes somewhat against the grain but I find myself in agreement with the government of Saudi Arabia whose negotiator at the Copehagen climate change conference is reported to have said:
"It appears from the details of the scandal that there is no relationship whatsoever between human activities and climate change.... "Climate is changing for thousands of years, but for natural and not human-induced reasons.... "So, whatever the international community does to reduce greenhouse gas emissions will have no effect on the climate's natural variability."
Mr Al-Sabban is also reported to have said that other countries shared this view and as a result, governments would not be prepared to countenance agreeing anything that would affect economic growth for many years, until "new evidence" settled the scientific picture.

Mr Al-Sabban also said that the UN summit should encourage a "full investigation" of the CRU e-mails affair.

Well said Mr Al-Sabban; I find myself in agreement with some Australian politicians, the BNP and the Saudis - not all pleasant company but in this instance correct in their thinking.

A case of 'my enemy's enemy', perhaps? Best to be careful - very careful.

Best regards.

Please read my previous postings on the Saudis and you will see that I am under no illusions about that despicable regime.
