Who was to blame for the US housing crash?

I have blogged several time about this in the past and explained how the problem was caused more by the affirmative lending policies of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac as dictated by President Clinton and a Democrat dominated Congress than by bankers and President George W. Bush.

So I was interested to see on Yid With a Lid some must watch videos of Rep. Barney Frank (Democrat) explaining why there is no housing bubble and that Fannie and Freddie are "fundamentally sound financially".

Take a look at the videos and wonder how Rep. Barney Frank, Chairman of the House Banking Committee can be calling for the prosecution of the people who caused the banking crisis, and not mean himself.
