Will this put Vince Cable back in the BBC's good books?

It is being reported that Vince Cable stated that "I have declared war on Mr. Murdoch."

If true this might get him back in the BBC's good books, having blotted his copybook by going into coalition government with the evil Tories. However if the Business Secretary did say that then he should be fired.

Mind you I doubt that The Sun or The Times will be reporting this news particularly favourably!

Seems to think a lot of himself, this Cable. "I could bring the coalition down".
Have I missed the fact that he has taken over from Nick Clegg as leader of the LibDems?
Personally, I'd like to see him give it a try. I might not be keen on Cameron, but I think he is too astute to allow Cable to get his own way and dominate the political agenda, and hope that he is just biding his change to let Cable be the cause of his own downfall.
