Road repairs in Japan

According to The Mail those two photographs are of the Great Kanto Highway in Naka where repair work began on March 17 and six days later the cratered section was repaired and ready to re-open to traffic. I know of potholes that have been around since January's ice that have been marked in yellow for repair but not repaired yet. The A40 elevated section's lights were removed over a year ago and not yet replaced.

This is one of the differences between a hard-working workforce and motivated political class and what we have in the UK.
