Eurocrats don't like being questioned

Vincent Browne takes on Klaus Masuch over the issue of the Irish people having to foot the bill for unguaranteed bondholders.

Marvellous stuff... I love Herr Masuch's obvious discomfort as he realises that Vincent Browne a) knows his stuff and b) won't be fobbed off with the usual bland assurances.

Can you, for one moment, imagine a BBC journalist, defending British taxpayer's interests, posing such difficult questions to an EU official - ever!

Anonymous,
I think your post about the BBC journalist was a bit wide of the mark; the BBC don't have journalists, they have propagandists and puppets.

When you think about it you'll see it's self-evident as jounalists have to find things out so have to have some understanding of a subject to ask the right questions of the right people, and might indeed find things that were uncomfortable or against a prevailing ideology.

Propagandists and puppets merely regurgitate anything that supports a set view, and will avoid anything which might upset that, regardless of facts or information.
