Tony Blair - wishful thinking or misleading listeners

I heard a BBC interview this afternoon with Tony Blair in his role as official envoy of the Quartet. In this interview he said of the towns in Israel that had been the targets of rockets fired from Gaza, that they were indisputably part of Israel. The trouble is that Hamas and Fatah/PA think and say very differently. To them all of Gaza is occupied Palestinian land and their aim is the destruction of Israel and, in the case of Hamas, the death of all Jews. It may be an inconvenient fact for Tony Blair, much of the world's media and the idiots who scream that "We are all Hamas now" whilst proclaiming they want a peaceful solution to the Israeli/Palestinian problem, but it is true Hamas don't want peace with Israel.

It is my firm belief that Hamas, and their associated terrorist friends, ramped up the rocket attacks on Israel so as to provoke an Israeli response. They did this in the full knowledge that any reaction by Israel would result in civilian deaths and thus the full panoply of screaming widows, grieving parents and opportunities for faked (Pallywood) injuries to be paraded in front of the world's media.
