Liaison Committee report

John Whittingdale just asked Gordon Brown whether he thought 200,000 immigrants a year was too high, Gordon Brown has answered a completely different question. John Whittingdale asks again and Gordon Brown refuses to answer the question again and pushes his points system again and asks for all party support. JW asks if the points system is designed to reduce immigration, Gordon Brown answers a different question and tries to confuse the issue by talking about highly paid city workers - most people aren't worried about intelligent skilled American bankers coming here and that is a point being made by John Whittingdale now, who asks what the maximum number of immigrants should be, Gordon Brown avoids the question. John Whittingdale asks a question about rising BNP support and Gordon Brown avoids answering the question.

Keith Vaz, British jobs for British workers and the 80% figure - Gordon Brown avoids the question. Sorry but this is getting boring, just assume that awkward questions are being asked and Gordon Brown is avoiding answering any of them.
